Hi, I’m Allison, a local Philly artist! I just launched my Etsy shop ArtbyAcon in September 2026 and I’d love to promote my paintings here as we get closer to the holiday season. I have art prints ($34.99+) and framed originals of my watercolor paintings of Giorgio on Pine, the Bok building, Good Dog bar, Function coffee shop and Isgro bakery available in 11x14 and 16x20 sizes. I’m ArtbyAcon on Instagram, TikTok and Etsy if you’d like to follow my artwork and support. I’ll be making more Philly works in the coming months so follow my shop to be notified of new listings.

I also offer custom paintings, pricing is dependent upon size and complexity, so please reach out if interested! Thank you 🫶🏻

not sure if this is fully allowed here, sorry if not..

if anyone knows of anywhere hiring currently for weekend or evening weekday shifts please let me know!! open to anything it’s tough out here.

thanks for looking ^—^

Hey y’all… I’m a local singer-songwriter and I’ve been recording my own music for a while, but I really have an itch to play live more, with a band, so I’m not always just playing acoustic sets.

General vibe would be cosmic folky rock. Jangly guitars, vocal harmonies, cool grooves, and leaving some room live for jamming. Let’s record a 4 minute song but when we play it live, let’s jam it out a bit.

Any instrument is welcome. I’d love to have a big band with lots of different instruments and sounds, but I’d love to find a percussionist, a drummer, bass, some extra guitars, organ keys, or anything else you think you could contribute. If you do one of the above and also sing, even better.

I have a ton of material written and ready to go, most of which has been recorded, but with the right group, I’d love to re-record. Ideally we could start with the songs that are finished and arranged, and then spend some time writing as a group.

Hit me up if this sounds fun to you. I’m in West Philly.

Please and thank you! DM's only!

For Philly folks who shop at licensed NJ dispensaries—I built https://dankdetour.com to make comparing menus easier.

Search a product, pick how far you’re willing to drive, and see which shops have the same item cheapest. Sometimes the better deal is actually closer.

Free, no ads, no login, and no ordering through the site. Still in beta, so would love some local feedback!

IYKYK. I have a ticket I'd like to let go of for $30. I double booked that day accidentally. DM me.

Selling Apple Watch Series 12 GPS 46mm

New Apple Watch, only worn for 5 days! It’s around 18 days since first activation. You can review all dates from device info and warranty before buying. It was slightly too large for my wrist, and I missed the return window while traveling.

This watch is absolutely FLAWLESS- no scratches, no dents, and it comes fully protected with active AppleCare coverage. (36 days left to add coverage, as of today)

Save yourself the tax and extra fees! Retails for $450+tax (comes to around 490$) at Amazon & Apple, but you can take this one for cheaper! Happy to provide additional photos or let you inspect it in person before purchasing. All boxes are included, to verify and check everything.

Please don’t negotiate the price - I am already losing around 100$ just for trying the watch. I’m stupid that I missed the 14 day window. I know.

Hi all,

Does anyone have any cool lamps they're willing to sell? Or does anyone know where I can look to find cool, cheap lamps (besides marketplace)?

Lease takeover, sorta. I need to move away for family reasons and am sad to leave this apartment. Good management, calm neighborhood across the river from Manayunk (you can see it when the trees are bare).

Hi folks!

I live in a 3rd floor apartment in an repurposed rowhome up in Fairmount, up in the area between Eastern State and Girard College. My roommate moved out earlier this summer, so I'm looking for someone else to move into their room.

Some info about the place: 2br/1b, in-unit laundry, small galley kitchen with a dishwasher, and a roof deck. Rent is $825 (incl. water but not electric/internet). Decent amount of free street parking all over the area, and nice quiet building mates on the first 2 floors.

About me: I'm 27M, pretty quiet in the space (gaming/watching anime), and do a lot of recreational music/performing stuff as a hobby in the evenings; between that and some family circumstances I have been spending a lot of time with my folks or otherwise out recently so you'd have a decent amount of privacy day-to-day.

If you're interested in learning more about the place/me or wanna see some pics, shoot me a DM! Move-in could be as soon as you want in.

I’ll be relocating from Charlotte, NC, to Philly but not until Around April 1, 2027, and I’m hoping to get some recommendations for reputable private landlords or property management companies.

I know I’m looking pretty far in advance, and most rental websites aren’t showing availability that far out, which I completely understand. I’m just someone who likes to plan ahead and be prepared. I’m also hoping to potentially connect with a private landlord who may already know they won’t be renewing a current tenant’s lease around that time.

A little about me as a tenant:
-Ideally looking to sign a longer-term lease (2–3 years) while preparing for eventual homeownership.

-Excellent rental history with no late rent payments, evictions, or issues with previous landlords.

-No criminal history.

- My Credit score averages around 650 across all 3 bureaus. I do have some older collection accounts stemming from financial hardship during COVID, when I got COVID twice and experienced some time out of work. Those accounts are approaching the point where they’ll fall off my reports within the next 1–2 years. I’ve since recovered financially and have had no further issues.

-I’m a full-time insurance adjuster with a stable, solid income.

Some of what I’m looking for:
-Preferably 3 bedrooms and at least 1 bathroom. Would consider a 2-bedroom if the property is a great fit.

-A porch is my only true non-negotiable!

-Washer/dryer included or at least hookups available.

-Open to different neighborhoods throughout Philly. I’m still narrowing down my preferred areas, but I’d ideally like to avoid Kensington and Port Richmond. That said, I’m willing to consider just about anywhere for the right property.

I’m not expecting someone to hold a property for six months. Just hoping to get some solid recommendations, make connections, and possibly get on someone’s radar for upcoming availability.
If you’ve rented from a great private landlord, know of a reliable property management company, or happen to be a landlord yourself, I’d really appreciate any leads!

TIA

I have a ticket to see Kathy Griffin at the Keswick on Thursday, row A seat 111. I can no longer attend and have been trying to sell it for awhile. Any fans interested?
