Discussion Thread Non-tender Sheets?

Article came out today with 2027 arbitration numbers and has Sheets getting 6.3-6.5m next year. He's obviously a fan favorite but with a 97 OPS+ and no defensive value, seems like a clear non-tender for the Padres imo.

Team is going to go thru a lot of changes. Let's ride and see what we roll with.

Sheets is an okay bench piece yet we have way bigger priorities, imo.
