ps5 console problems

I’ve been having an issue with my ps5 lately. i took the plates off and used a vacuum to suck up dust. i don’t believe it’s over heating because i can play for hours at a time and it will be fine but i just turned it on today and i clicked on a game and it froze completely and then shut off. i turned it back on and was watching update screen because it was updating games and it froze and shut off again. turned it back on and now its fine but im a little nervous because ps5 pros are expensive asf and hard to find. worried it won’t be able to run gta6. any help would be very much appreciated! thankyou!

The vacuum holes will never get to your heat sink. I would open it enough to get to that part and clean that out

I took the cover off and the fan and was able to kinda get the heat sink. That may be enough for you to see the state of it. Assuming you have the old fat model

Could put it in safe mode and clear cache and rebuild database if it still does it then likely power supply or liquid metal issue.

why did you use a vacuum? I've cleaned my ps5 3 and never once felt the need to use a vacuum.

Bruh, there are extra slots specifically made to be vacuumed

Was the vacuum electronic safe? Could be some damage you can’t see

yeah the vacuum was perfectly fine for electronics. i only vacuumed the little slots not the fan
