After getting the platinum for Galactic Racers, here are my thoughts on it if anyone cares to read (also thank you if you read it all, I appreciate your time). My top two favourite racing games are Burnout Paradise and Most Wanted 2012, and now galactic racers is now my top three, I wondered if there was a connection between the three and lo and behold if my research is correct, it's the same creative team for all three games. I knew criterion made paradise and most wanted, I didn't know they made a new company. "Sim" racers or sim-like, y'know the ones with the racing lines that tell you when to brake, are my least favourite racing game genre.

Arcade racers have always been my favourite genre of racing and galactic racers is perfect. Here are a couple of reasons why it's a 10/10 for me:

1) The laps are the right length. I would be grinding the platinum and having to repeat runs again and again and sometimes I would find myself rolling my eyes when I saw anything more than 2 laps, but it would be over in no time. They are the perfect length and the only ones that I dislike are the precision field tests.

2) The controls are very satisfying and tight in my opinion. I had to switch my square drift to an L2 drift for this one arcade challenge because my brain wasn't working properly for it, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

My only complaint is there should have been more arcade trials, those were very fun and satisfying to complete. It's not on par with let's say trackmania in terms of margin for error, but the arcade challenges were very hard for me, which made them that more satisfying to get a gold time on. I normally hate DLC but if there's any for the future planned for this game, I will be buying day one.

>Enjoy updated visuals, dynamic battles, unforgettable characters, and an epic journey to save two intertwined worlds.
