I’m headed to Bend next Monday and want to get together as many toys and support items as possible for the community.

I know this is outside the normal scope of the subreddit, but we in PDX can directly support kids and parents in our state.

Suggestions/advice from mental health or emergency response professionals as to what would be most impactful are welcome.

EDIT: Adding in a specific ask for art supplies

This is a massive ask but I figured it's worth a shot. I just had major surgery and won't be able to do what usually keeps me sane, hiking and walking my dogs, for at least 6 weeks. I live paycheck to paycheck and can't work for at least a month.

I used to play games on my computer but the laptop my friend gave me ages ago now has no storage space, an iffy charging port, and a lot of the keys have come off. My phone screen is broken so watching movies etc is... not ideal on it.

It would really change my life for the next couple months if someone has a spare mid-range laptop laying around. No tablets please, I'd like to be able to download games from Steam

Beggars can't be choosers and I feel self conscious specifying this, but I don't use Apple products and a Chromebook or similar wouldn't be able to run the games I'm hoping to play. It doesn't need to be up to hi fi graphics new release type games but things like Skyrim would be really nice to lose myself in while I can't hike. If you aren't sure you let me know the model and I'll look up whether it can run the stuff I'm hoping for.

These pieces use to be outside marble tables. Technically the large one still functions (the size of a dinning room table) but it is very aged and do not know how long it would last. Would be great for an art project or whatever your heart desires! The big piece is very heavy and would most likely needs a truck/trailer to pick up.

May be willing to deliver depending on location.

A good friend of mine recently had a seizure for the first time in over a year, and I’m certainly worried about him having another and falling/injuring himself or hitting his head. I asked him if it would be helpful for me to seek out a shower chair, and he said yes, so I’m just putting some feelers out!

This is a used cat litter enclosure. It was great for two large size high back litter boxes. I put the cabinet and inner dimensions on the pictures. I would call the cabinet itself sturdy... but NOT the feet it came with. These little weak legs are actively breaking/bending. Replace em with something metal or be prepared to move this thing very carefully.

I have cleaned it out with lysol wipes as best I can.

It doesn't come apart easily for transport so you'll need some way to transport a 48"×26"x21" thing. This is porch pickup only in SE but we can help you load if needed. This weighs about 45 lbs and is awkward to carry. If there's enough interest I'll do a drawing EOD tomorrow but for the love of everything please answer your DMs 😭 I will send coordination deets to the lucky recipient.

Barely used neoprene back brace/compression garment. The tag says 4x, but it’s Asian sizing, and is more like a Women’s size 2X. Got it to help with lower back pain, but it ended up being a hip issue, so didn’t use much.

Pickup near ladds addition. the fish tank is fluval flex in white, and comes with a siphon and filter accessories. hoping someone can come get it this weekend. I’ll draw from the raffle friday noon.

Strip light, never unwrapped from its coil, but my kid took it out of the package and the tape came off the first six inches and the connector was cracked. It lights up when you press, but doesn’t work if you’re not pressing. If anyone knows how to fix it or has extra connectors they can use…I hate for it to go in the trash.
