I'm coming from AOSP custom ROM like crDriod, AlphaDroidbased on A15/16. I'm finding the nothing OS UI ugly, let me explain.

1. The first thing is there's no option to have high density app drawer like 6x8, or 6x10, or even 7x8, etc. The max 5 column app drawer makes the icons too large, even though the display density set to smaller.

2. No other way to set icon size like in custom ROMs

3. I feel the display size and font size steps are not in sync. I mean the display size should have corresponding matching font size option. They have predefined font size steps which is not suitably matching to desired font size

4. The quick setting page is utter ugly. It has only options to have giant 4 icons. There it must have option to keep 6 columns.

5. The brightness bar in QS is at bottom or lower part of the full QS page. It should have option to add at top.

6. Lack of option to set different shapes or shades of QS buttons

7. For dual SIM it merges both the sim icons to one, at least give an option to user to show it separately

8. The keyboard has huge unwanted space at bottom, literally there shouldn't be anything below the space bar.

9. Recents have only screenshot option at bottom and clear all at extreme left! Why not along side screenshot?

10. No option to keep battery statusbar icon as text

11. Pure black settings page is not there

Please let me know if you feel the same and the workaround you are doing for such settings.

I bought the Nothing Headphone 1 Pro from the Nothing website, but it hasn't shipped for a long time. I really want to complain about what they're even doing？？

We the users slide the bar to adjust brightness, who the hell taps on it??

I hate being flash banged at night in the dark. It should only be increased when u slide it.

I actually forgot my pattern lock for Nothing 3A. I usually used my fingerprint which I still remember and working but not I'm stuck to enter pattern only which I forgot. I don't want to loose any data so factory reset option is not good for me. I have all the valid details of my phone purchase and other things. Is it possible if I can get it changed or get access to my phone by contacting Nothing Support online/centre with my valid proof of ownership?

Who in the right mind decided to put the motherboard on the display, what made someone think it was a great idea to put the motherboard I'm one of the most delicate parts of the device? Why couldn't they copy every other phone company and put it into the chassis.

I only wanted to see to get a screen replacement because my phone screen cracked. I looked on the iFixit and it's a level nine 😔.

so recently my settings app has started glitching, every time i log in it shows me a blank name and a default profile picture EVEN tho ive customized my account, nothing x is logged in and doesnt have this problem but the settings app just refuses to show that information, any help is appreciated (if there is any help)

I was seeing out the nothing 3a and 3a lite. But I did eventually order the 3a. Just because it has better camera but now it’s but poking me out that i should have gone towards the 3a lite cause idk why i feel that looks better and meet my requirements better like the requirements of mine were decent storage no laggy, smooth and decent camera and I feel that I have just spend a extra just for a better camera and it’s my parents money. So the difference is very small among the pricing of those both. So should i cancel the 3A and listen to my feeling and get the 3a lite or just get the 3a pls give ur options am just too confused rn😭😭

I am trying to buy the NP2 case from the hatke since the options for the phone cases are very low.

I you have the beta or stable NOS 5.0, what do you like or dislike about these?

I like that there are multiple options for the auto change of different images - daily, hourly and on unlock and the general style they have.

I don't think the way the images on them are created is the best because at least on my phone (3a) beta I can't really use pictures I cropped myself because the selection for the widget will still try to crop them and sometimes it messes it up. It messes up on regular images too but if I insert a png with transparent background it should probably be able to understand that it has already been cropped...

I don't know, it's more interesting than the standard gallery widget but since it insists on cropping everything to it's liking I don't know if I really like it or not...

The most aesthetic phone to ever exist

Why is Nothing's customer service so terrible? I know they are a small company but when their customers have bad experiences with both software and ESPECIALLY hardware they could seem to care less.

For example, if you read through threads, there is an obvious issue with main boards on multiple different devices, but they won't admit fault. Most devices are barely out of warranty, which makes it that much more frustrating.

I would like to hear about people's experiences and resolutions, if they even got one.

Edit:
- Tried it in another phone. SIM works there (not a nothing phone).
- Reboot did nothing
- Switch from slot 1 to 2. Nothing.
- If I open menu for sim cards, it shows my card operator and end of the number but it can´t to turn my "operator on".
