Just trying to make an awakened dynasty list and wanted some other perspectives on it

Can I lwky just use 3 tomb citadel walls and ingress them from the sides and have a wall of 50 wound 2+ 5++ pieces and then just throw like monoliths on each

(For yall that dont know tomb citadel walls is a 2 foot by 2 foot square with a plateau raised up that you can out a monolith, vault, obelisk, or sentry pylon ontopbof giving it high ground to shoot down. Ima give a picture from google)

Also its only 180 points each <3

I personally think LychGuard and Immortals need updates too. Their design is different to newcrons, they still have that jank where GW hadn't quite figured out Necrons faces etc

Hello fellow 'crons, I come to you seeking advice in how I should fill out my collection.
Here's what I have so far, totaling to about 1550 points:

Orikan the Diviner | The Silent King

A full brick of wraiths is definitely on the list, and in general I run Awakened Dynasty/Hand of the Dynasty x Cursed Legion or Cryptek Conclave, but I'm open to trying something new. I will say I'm trying to ball on a budget, so I might try and 3D print whatever else I get, unless y'all suggest against doing so for certain models/units.

I just painted my first Necron today! I was thinking about going to the store and getting some warriors later (just for the scarabs but don’t tell anyone!) and I wanted to know what yall thought! I used abbadon black, corax white, leadbelcher, and warp lightning!

So the squad is the most recent one and the model with the most images is my most recent, I’m really proud of them but I want to get better at painting especially after seeing the amazing models on this subreddit. Do you guys have tips, advice?

What kind of glue should i use for it? It a plastic 3d print, so not resin.

Looking for some input on the below list. I have been on a mission to make the most competitive possible list for every disposition and this list would be for Disruption.

I call it the Four Horsemen because it will be Night Bringer, Void Dragon, Deceiver, and tesseract Vault as the bulk of my force.

I would take Pantheon of Woe and Phaerons Armoury (for the buffs to the vault).

With the hexmark for my warlord, and the four horsemen themselves I am left with 300 points. I mainly am struggling to make the most out of those points as I know they will likely end up being the bulk of my actual scoring pieces into most matchups.

The other idea I had was to axe one unit if flayed ones and slot in 2 lone LHDs with gauss just to give myself one more unit to score with, but im concerned the 4 wound body won't stack up as nicely as 10 flayed ones.

Thoughts my fellow Phaerons?

Looking for guidance on ~500pts of the damage/tankiness/utility triangle. Question at the bottom and context is first. (Utility, Lychguard, and 3rd Doomstalker, or Deceiver and Immortals?)

I've been playing about a year, mostly Grey Knights, with my two close friends (Ultra Marines and Orks). We love/hate getting wrecked by flash gitz and tank bustas, and it was a joyous experience for everyone when my unit of wraiths withstood a massive beating; I want to lean into that some more. I recall a tournament winner ran 3 wraith bricks, even after the surge pricing and nerfs. Canoptek court is 2DP (this is new right). I also really want to change strategies and move into an aggressive charge type army - not to alpha strike as much as to control the setting and pace (I'm horrible with my GK alphastriking).

The core of the list is 3 wraith bricks, 2 reanimators, and 3 doomstalkers. Originally there is also a unit of lychguards with Imotekh, the autodivinator enhancement (for even more CP), tomb blades and LDs with the Skyshroud Spearhead. The idea is to Shoot/Charge turn 2, and Fallback/Shoot/Charge with a second wave turn 3. I'd simply tie up vehicles and spread out the damage so that Reanimation Protocols does it's work.

However, this list doesn't have any precision, and only 3 doomstalkers on 90mm bases for damage is probably going to feel bad. I switched over to Hand of the Dynasty and brought an immortal brick and Deceiver, removing the utility units and a doomstalker. I expect the Deceiver's mobility, utility, precision, and tankiness to be great (primarily the precision, though). The immortals are obviously great into things that the doomstalkers aren't great for. At 300 points for the brick, though, are they likely to bring value in a gameplan where I plan to charge 3 wraith bricks on turn 2?

So, the question is one of guidance on a balancing a list where I am trying to control the rules of engagement instead of being a bad GK player who over-analyzes deepstrikes and gets charged by land raiders and orks all the time.

Is it reasonable to give up 4 utility units and a 4th melee brick for a different kind of utility and more damage with this game plan?

I know results will vary based on missions, terrain, player skill, and the opponent's army, but with each game taking 4-6 hours I'd rather ask for some advice first.

I've collected a fair pile of spare parts and have enough (I think) to make a passable Overlord. I have an Overlord head, various torsos, several arms and legs, staffs etc. All that's "missing" is the more decorative elements of a true overlord torso, the trim and "dangly bits" etc. How have you all tackled this particular task?

Played a game Vs Custodes today and decided to try out a Monolith hypercrypt legion list playing Reconnaissance. Idea was to use a lot of deep strike units and a transcendent c'tan to bounce around the map and score points, avoiding scary Custodes bricks.

I found it really awkward to primary most rounds as it was too easy for him to just screen out the back two quarters. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to play it?

I just printed one, but i Heard some stuff (Along with the amount of marine units being send to legend with their codex) has started to make me worry that the seraptek might get the boot.

Asking as since I cannot find these on Ebay at all I plan to build my own one

So I decided that my Necron army is going to be the first "My Guys" army that only takes units that I think look cool and develop my own lore for the dynasty.

The problem is that lore wise, I love the Phaeron and Dynasty stuff. I love the dramatic bickering and politics of a dynasty, and created my lore around my dynasty being "adventurers" "acquiring" other races tech to see if they can find a solution to the "can't make new necrons" problem. I really like this idea and it sounds super fun.... but....

I really like the Destroyer models on the tabletop. They look so damn cool and play so well that I want my army to be destroyer focused. Cursed legion, Destroyer lords, Destroyers everywhere.

But it feels really weird to have my noble Overlord put on a Destroyer Ankh while still being pretty "sane" by Necron standards.

Should I just pivot the lore to being a Destroyer cult instead? The models are cool, but I feel like lore wise Destroyers are pretty one note, "kill everything," so I'm less interested in that is my only issue.

Any ideas fellow Phaerons?

Preferrably hypercrypt legion, but other suggestions are welcome.

They are some of my favorite models, what do yall thing needs to happen for them to make it back into lists and which detachment would you be running them in?

This was practically the last model I was missing. I am crossing my fingers I can get to play it before it gets removed, but worries aside, does anyone have specific recommendations on building it?

I see that many titans recommend using two part epoxy as glue and how pinning is a must, but do we have any specific recommendation from people who have built this?

Maybe on which epoxy to use, what to pin (I'm guessing the legs), or recommendations for sub assemblies?

Do you really just leave this big boi without a base, or would it be worth it to get a big one?

So I love both of these cryptek models, but I'm honestly struggling to justify them in my lists. Unlike the other crypteks, they don't really directly buff their units so it always feels like I lean towards Orikan, Chromonomancer, Plasmancer or Technomancer instead.

Has anyone had any luck running either of them? It would be nice to get them on the table
