Question How many more surgeries should I go for?
I have done three surgeries and spent more than 90% of my time this year on MC and HL, how do I expand it?

Use this to ask questions related to your BMT enlistment. See all dates on CMPB's websites. If you see the dreaded "Maintenance Notification", use this website.

I’m genuinely at a loss about what to do next, and would appreciate advice from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.
For context, I was revocated from one vocation to another due to an unrelated undisclosed issue and subsequently posted to a different unit.
I’ve been experiencing panic symptoms (note that I say symptoms because I want to avoid from self-diagnosis) even before NS, but I managed to push through BMT because I could cope using my own self-regulation strategies.
However, after reaching my previous unit, my panic symptoms gradually worsened to the point where my usual coping strategies stopped working (no clue why i feel that way esp that there were barely any strenuous conducts). I eventually mustered up the courage to report sick and received a referral to SCC. Honestly, I felt quite relieved because I thought I’d finally have the opportunity to seek professional help and learn how to manage these symptoms better.
Unfortunately, since I would be moving to another camp, I was told that my appointment would have to be postponed indefinitely esp because the current camp is a temporary posting.
I haven’t really had the opportunity to speak to my current unit’s superiors about my situation. I’m also unsure who I should approach in my current unit, especially since I’m still trying to settle into the new posting and my reporting arrangements are temporary hence a change of direct superiors soon.
I’ve considered going to IMH, but I’m hesitant because I’m afraid that I’m overreacting or that my symptoms aren’t serious enough to warrant going there. My experience with the MO at my previous unit also left me feeling somewhat dismissed, although I understand that there may have been reasons for how the consultation went. It made me question myself and whether I was being overdramatic, even though the symptoms genuinely affected me.
On top of that, my current temporary camp involves travelling roughly two hours each way. This arrangement will last about 2 weeks but I don't know what future arrangements will be and that makes everything feel even more uncertain and overwhelming to manage the panic. I'm honestly only managing to cope because this temporary arrangement allows me to be physically with my family. Having them around has been one of the biggest things helping me get through this period.
If I can’t get a SCC appointment soon and my symptoms continue worsening, would it be reasonable to seek help at IMH instead of waiting? I've been in limbo coming to almost a month already if it includes waiting for posting in my previous unit and idk how long I can handle this.
I genuinely want to get the symptoms under control and figure out how to manage my situation properly. Would really appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Hello nsman uncle here. One of my close friends just got diagnosed with early stage skin cancer I just realised how much sun exposure we got as recruits or just trng in general, esp under super hot sun. This was early 2010s.
We had a bunkmate who used sunscreen frequently and ppl called him "kiasi" for that but actl now realised he was prob being smart. I feel like as an SAF we're becoming more scientific and from my friend's experience hope this is one way we're looking out for soldier welfare.

Hey there! I am just another bored Singaporean that has personally felt that the latest shift in government message to 24h PSI and 1h PM2.5 has unintentionally deflated the raw numbers we have been observing daily, and has also just been a bit disorienting for those of us that grew up with our old 3h PSI numbers throughout the mid 2010s haze period.
Thus, I just made a small project that does the following:

I would love to get more feedback on possible functionalities, and hopefully this helps you with clarity as much as it has done for me!

Im a NSF who OOC and did not pass out from BMT when I was a recruit, I only got posted out from BMT. Currently Im in my vocation doing well but my superior told me that I was sent for re-bmt. I managed to skip 1 FFI session (medical screening), I will be honest I do not want to re-bmt again I only left 7 months more to ORD and I wanted to sign on but not in SAF. Is there any experienced NSF out there who actually did skipped the "re-bmt", I need help and advice 😭 Will I be asked again to re-bmt?

Are there any regulars in maintenance and engineering support? Can you share how is working life like?
Specifically, how is the WLB like working there? Are there many outfields? Is the 8-530 schedule actually followed? Etc

Hi guys, currently in Week 5 of the 7-week Foundation Term in SCS School 3, and I'm hoping to get Signals Pro Term.
I'm quite worried about getting Infantry Pro Term, so I'm hoping to hear from people who have gone through SCS or know how the vocation allocation works.
I'm Singaporean
I'm not Mono Intake
I indicated interest for signals
I told my PCs about wanting to go signals.
I should have high security clearance, considering I have 2 older siblings who have served, and one of them was in the Air-Force.

Was recommend by a friend to try out NTUC hub but am trying to seek out other options too. Because I'm currently working in a medical centre so there will be overnight duties so might clash some of the classes. Will be making use of my offs to upskill and study.
Do UNIs offer these short courses as well?
Was thinking maybe to learn CAD or programming as a skill. Might be open to more
