Hiii is anyone going to South Korea for winter school?

Wanted to take it as a BDE for fun next semester, but I couldn't find a review of it on here. What is the difficulty of the course? Is it well-structured? Is the professor engaging?

Hi for overseas exchange to Chinese university specially Shanghai jiaotong, how can we send the fees in Rmb? Was told by ocbc that they cannot transfer in rmb.

When I try to add the payee in dbs, they ask for ID number which is not available for a business account right?

Hello,

As the title says, I got into SIH 2026 and was wondering if anyone else from NTU/NUS/Singapore got in as well/going to SIH 2026? :)

Hello everyone! 😊

I’m from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and I’m planning to join NTU Singapore for the MSc in Cybersecurity programme in January 2027.

I’m looking to connect with fellow students joining NTU around the same time, especially those interested in finding accommodation together. It would be great to get to know each other, explore housing options, and plan our move to Singapore in advance.

If you’re also joining NTU in January 2027, feel free to comment or DM me. Looking forward to connecting with future NTU classmates! 🏠🇸🇬

Hi does anyone know when the result for the first BS1012 (taken before recess week) will be known?

Will the median result be revealed for all mods, or depends on whether the lecturer wants to reveal or not?

Bought a chicken floss roll.
Now, I expect them to be fluffy and soft.
When I bit into them it’s completely hard. Like it was frozen.
Turned the package around and saw a date for August.
Did they just sell me expired food? (Koufu northspine). Is there a way to report this?? Already left campus today.

Anyone applying for overseas internship in thailand or had intern before? I really want to apply but had no response from any company...

I tried with Hisense from CAO internship opportunity but no response, anyone applied too?

Hi folks!

I’m an international masters student at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. I’m currently seeking for a part-time internship between November 2026 and June 2027 in engineering or related organisations.

I am into business development, management, and sales domains. I also come with 2 years of work experience. I’m looking for some guidance/referrals which could be beneficial. Thank you all for reading!

What do yall think of the mid term chaos and optional re-test?

Also there are answers and questions from 6 Oct circulating :x

Hi everyone,

I am planning to pursue an MSc in Cybersecurity at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. I am curious about how the job market is for cybersecurity professionals in Singapore, especially for fresh graduates who are international students from India.

Any insights on opportunities, demand, or challenges in this field would be really helpful!

Thanks in advance! 😊

quite self explanatory, any recommendations of best halls/places to play?

follow up question:
- im aware nanyang house & sac have tables, do they need to be booked?

Long story short, I took this BDE because it was a one of the requirements for my matriculated minor. However, after a few weeks of taking the classes I realised I wanted to drop this minor as a whole and just pursue another one as I wasn't coping well (and I had no idea what is going on during lessons). I couldn't drop this mod because it was way past the add/drop period. I was thinking maybe I could just fail this BDE and FGO it, but now my friends are telling me I would have to retake the mod if I fail. Is this true? I thought i could just take a different BDE and the failed one wouldnt count as credits?

**edit: sorry, my main concern is that i dont wanna retake this mod 💀

How did you all do?

Did anyone receive any update from AMAT？

Did any of you have to give up on registering for a course because you got unlucky during STARS? Or can you always get it after struggle within 2 weeks by contacting the relevant department. How successful is that second strategy for i) core, ii) BDEs, iii) MPEs?

Haven't gone through the process yet so wanted an idea of how risky/cumbersome the process is
