[36F] Licensed sex therapist. Increasing number of my patients are bulls and cucks. AMA about the work NSFW
I’m a licensed psychologist working as a sex therapist. Lately I’ve been seeing a clear increase in men who identify as bulls or cucks, or couples where this dynamic is central. They come in dealing with the practical, emotional and relational side of the fetish: how to negotiate it, manage jealousy or excitement, set boundaries, handle secrecy versus openness with a partner and reduce shame or compulsion around the roles.
This is not an ad. I don’t take clients from Reddit.
Typical work looks like this: we map how the bull or cuck role functions for the person (or the couple), what triggers the strongest arousal or distress, how communication happens (or fails) and what they actually want to change or stabilize. Sessions are mostly talk. When useful I use structured tools for shame, partner communication and sometimes more experiential exercises in session. The goal is rarely to stop the dynamic. It’s usually less distress, clearer agreements and a less split relationship with the desire.
People often arrive very reserved and become much more direct once they feel they won’t be judged.
