It's amazing that an elected official can say the stupidest and most unprovable shit imaginable, and not be thrown out of off office immediately for gross incompetence. At the very least he is mentally unfit to be in that position.

Even if the eject button couldn't be used (as appears to be the case these days), how could they ever be voted back into office at the next election?

He is the entire source of GOP power. They had to appeal to the weak minded, indoctrinated, pantophobic crowd because no one else was buying their bullshit.
Trump fit the bill perfectly. They aspire to be just like him. Every single trait.

Its okay MAGA believe whatever leader says. They could say Obama is Gay and his children are aliens and MAGA would start an AI campaign. Also gas prices are Bidens fault 2 years later.

They already do. A bunch spread the lie that Michelle is a man the kids aren't theirs.

It’s really disturbing how commonly pushed this lie is amongst them. They also add in that Obama is gay. And then they will try and claim they’re not racist after saying it.

A lady my mom was friends with said and this was a handful of years ago, "You know they have a photo of Michelle with a penis?" My mom goes, "You know Photoshop is a thing right?" It shut her up for like two seconds. Two seconds of quiet peace with these asshats is such a reprieve lol.

"Reality has a liberal basis."
3
u/n3m0sum 2d ago edited 1d ago
It's slightly unfortunate that that phase became the meme.
It unfortunately implies that reality has an opinion, and that if it currently favours liberals. Which opens the possibility that it can be persuaded or cajoled to favour conservatives.
The truth is more that liberals have a reality and evidence bias.
Despite all their shouting about liberal snowflakes and their feelings. Conservatives have a bias towards what feels right to them. Based on pre-existing beliefs, almost regardless of data.

u/Homerpaintbucket 2d ago
When they talk about “post birth abortion,” they’re talking about palliative care for infants who have health conditions that are terminal. They want to force families and doctors to repeatedly revive infants who have medical conditions that make them die shortly after birth. They want to force people to watch their babies flatline over and over again.
The worst part of it is they paint the doctors and nurses who provide comfort care to the poor babies as murderers. They’re actually advocating torturing babies. But they pretend democrats are killing them after they’re born.
35
u/INeedANappel 2d ago
Remember when Rs told their zombie followers that Obamacare was all about Death Panels that would decide that Grandma was too old to get any healthcare?
Meanwhile they were advocating dismantling Medicare as tax fraud and waste.
And when Covid came to stay and hospital equipment got scarce, they were encouraging hospitals to triage old people at the bottom of the lists of prioritizing care.
Every accusation is always a confession of their hypocrisy. They only care about people who give them lots of money. Everyone else is pawns in their bullshit games.

u/mooninuranus 2d ago

20
u/Adodger22 2d ago
That's because rightwing politicians are literal known baby rapists and their voters don't care.
14
u/I_TRY_TO_BE_POSITIVE 2d ago
I've come to realize that this is just how the game is played. The right is evil, their supporters know they are evil and in their hearts, they support that evil because they think it benefits them.
The left, coming from the position of just wanting people to get along and be taken care of, can't act like complete sociopaths without losing support, because their supporters actually care about that and don't want to elect psychos.
Right now the right is suffering from their own success (read: dumbass decisions motivated by greed and spite) and so they'll vote against their guys temporarily, because they are greedy and spiteful first, and if you mess with their bag, they'll disown you.
But if they are ever allowed in power again, this process will repeat itself. It did with Reagan, it did with Bush, and now we have the Orange. Everyone left of center needs to be aware that if they ever allow conservatives into power again, this is what you will get.
3

"He's gonna declare some made up national emergency". "He's gonna seize ballots for some bullshit reason". "Ice will loudly detain people to scare people away from voting". Either it happens and people see that his reasons are bullshit and he's a liar or he doesn't do the thing. Both are better than talking about it after the fact.

u/nomorepumpkins 2d ago
I love the idiots talking about 8 month elective abortions. Because pregnancy is notoriously sooooooo much fun that women go through 95% of it just to say naw at the last min. Be so for real.
29
u/ShatoraDragon 3d ago
Anyone having a abortion that late into their pregnancy. The baby is dead and they are removing the body from her body before it starts to rot inside of her and kills her as well. It is not because they chickened out at the 11th hour. Something very tragic happened.
Yes some babies tragically do not thrive outside of the womb and die shortly after birth. The times they are calling "Post Birth Abortion" are cases of the child having a known medical condtion that is going to kill them, that the parents ether found out to late into the pregnancy to terminate, or made the choice to bring the child to term and love them for the few hours they would have before they pass.
The only Gender Mutilations being done (outside of the "excepted" circumcision) is done mostly on Intersex children where the doctor and parents will pick a gender for the child and make the genitals match.
6
3
u/Wine-o-dt 2d ago
One of the current alternative fact reality patches that I‘ve seen from the Republican side is that intersex doesn’t exist. They are an invention by Democrats that seeks to undermine the Republican agenda and discredit the two natural sexes.
I don’t know how someone deludes themselves to that point. This was an argument I had with a MAGA hat family member.

15
u/MysticMind89 2d ago
The only time abortions happen close to birth is when neither the mother or baby can survive it. And by that point, it becomes a harrowing, traumatic ordeal for the mother.
But Republicans don't care about babies. Otherwise, they would offer parental support. They only care about policing women's bodies.
→ More replies (1)6
u/SuperVillainPresiden 2d ago
Hopefully and obviously, no one wants abortions to have to be a thing. But they do and there are some scenarios where it's required if we don't want both the mom and fetus to die.
And, just my opinion obviously, if you're anti-abortion and you have no foster children then STFU. There are (the last number I saw on this) ~400,000 children in foster care. Once we get that all the way down to like less than 10,000(I'd like it to be close to zero) then I'll listen to what they have to say. If you care more for a fetus than the quality of life for children, in general but, without parents then you're a monster in my eyes.
Also, the vast majority of cases(like 90+%) that have used abortion laws to prosecute women have been filed against women who had miscarriages. In the first year after Roe v Wade was overturned only 2 of like 200-300 cases actually involved abortions. All others were miscarriages. Because you know if abortion is murder then miscarriage is manslaughter right?(/s) These people just want to control and torture women. And, if hell is real, I'll take solace in seeing these people in hell with me.

u/TheDungeonCrawler 2d ago
This is the big difference between the left and the right. The left routinely points out how absurd so many of the right's talking points are, as well as the fact that things get measurably worse in right wing regimes. The Right, on the other hand, has no firepower whatsoever. There's nothing for them to actually point at as an example of the left making things demonstrably worse. Not en masse anyway, so they have to lie. Because Democratic politicians only sins are upholding the status quo and playing ball with the right when they're trying to curb progressive power in their own party. Republican politicians can't point at the sins of Dems because they don't want the status quo to change either, beyond them being the ones in charge or making things worse.

I saw something years ago it was a Netflix documentary called get me Roger Stone and it basically detailed how Donald Trump came into power his first term but it also shows the political tricks and things that people will use to find out what their base is. So ultimately I tell a lie with something that can't be true, like up until the age of one you can abort a child and 90% of the people hearing this information will be like that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. But 10% of the people will actually buy into it. Now I found my group of people. See below this is actually a Russian technique I knew I remembered it from the documentary I just couldn't put my finger on it.A real example: Operation INFEKTION In the 1980s, the KGB spread a fabricated story claiming that the United States had created HIV/AIDS as a biological weapon. The story was planted in foreign media and circulated internationally. Soviet intelligence also studied how its disinformation campaigns were received and repeated. Another particularly relevant source is the famous 1984 interview with Yuri Bezmenov, in which he discusses changing people's perception of reality until they reject contradictory evidence. Those are his claims and interpretations, not proof of a specific scientific experiment. Watch the interview: Yuri Bezmenov — The Four Stages of Ideological Subversion (1984)

MAGA needs to find a legal way to kill rape and incest babies but without proper birth control.

Jean-Paul Sartre:
Never believe that anti‐ Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti‐Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past. It is not that they are afraid of being convinced. They fear only to appear ridiculous or to prejudice by their embarrassment their hope of winning over some third person to their side.
True of the Right in general, not just antisemitism. While there have been depressing cases of infants dying after birth, it wasn't because of some liberal agenda buzzword crap. You may be thinking of SIDS, there's also premature births where sadly the baby didn't make it even with hospital care. These things are more realistic to think about and therefore less easy to fearmonger over during election cycles. In the U.S. at least abortions never went to "before birth" just because people "felt like it" or something.
