How should I seal the ends? I'd rather not deal with rubber bands

Unfortunately (or not) I’m not a fan of this doll, so I thought I’d give it a shot and try to design an outfit in my taste
I’ve been in a terrible art block so please be nice with me

Also, as for patterns I simply used some random lace pattern brushes I have in my library

It’s still somewhat… clattered but a bit less than what I dislike in the actual doll, the main issue is the tail piece in the back, it’s a later addition

I added the makeup with acrylic paint on top of her original screening and gave her a haircut! I was going for a jellyfish haircut that looks like she teased the upper part of her hair heavily.
Outfit consists of various Monster High and Rainbow High items.
What do you think? If Mattel ever released a Spectra like this, would you buy her? 👻

I’ve been a fan since 2010 and recently I’ve been trying to collect more actively again. These past few months have been crazy and I’m so happy I got Michael but five minutes ago people were running to find the new creepros (including me) and now it’s all about Howliday Drac (I couldn’t get her), in a few days it’s Oogie and god knows Mattel has some surprise release for end of October & November. Krampus and not even counting G3. I’ve been exhausted and so much money goes into this hobby I find myself needing a break. Collecting is supposed to be fun but lately I’ve been so pressured by fomo I can’t even take a minute and enjoy what I already got. Just some feelings, still love MH and my small collection (not pictured)

I accidentally used the wrong sized eyes, so I feel like they’re too small :( other than that I’m super happy with how she came out!

I still need to wash Greta’s hair again, I got her on the release date and she has been OOB since then and well loved ♡ I was waiting to get the DOTD line and restore it completely eventually to display her, but FrankenBarbie & the DOTD Creepros got released and I just couldn’t wait. Unboxed my favorites first, will unbox the rest of the line once I have some more time. In the meantime… What do you think of the creepros? I love them overall, but I’m a little disappointed about the new body material they are using. I had many issues with my Haunt Couture & W1 creepro dolls & their sanding, but at least they felt more sturdy.

Currently enjoying her time in jail for now since I'm a serial deboxer but with how pretty she looks in the packaging I'm lowkey scared to open her! What do y'all think, to keep in box or debox is always the question 🤔

I've finally found a Monster High related thing in the thrift shop, I'm sooo happy!!. I checked on the internet if i's worth anything, but sadly not. I like how it has the G1 design. It's from a Polish brand "STARPAK" (I live in Poland but i was born in England, Doncaster)😊.

Im lately obsessed with sewing little things for dolls and i was able to snatch some g1 dolls and i got some cute g3s aswell! Anyways i hope u guys like my first ever restyling! She had HORRIBLE glue seepage. I think i did a good job💕

Sometimes when no one’s around, I like to make my boy dolls kiss. Don’t tell mom.

I need to work up the motivation to sew him an outfit, but it’s like putting together IKEA furniture to me… frustrating.

The articulation in the dolls is ok, better than many on the market. But let’s imagine they give us made to move joints with the new amazing G3 sculpts 🥹 it would be dream come true! If Barbie can rock some joints I’m sure the monsters can.

I am more understanding if you live in a country where Mattel wont ship the dolls to so resellers are your only option to have dolls

I got out my acrylic paint markers and matched the brushes to the dolls color palette. I don't think I can do this with Cleo's brush because of the color picked for the brush.
