Coyote pack sighting

PSA: Today, around 6:20 am, I spotted a pack of at least 5 coyotes walking and howling loudly near the Clark neighborhood pond (Laurier and Tupper). Be careful if you have kids that roam around that area alone.

In ALL of North America and over the past 100 years , there have only been 3 reported human fatalities from coyotes.
A lot More people get killed by pets or barn animals.
People get bitten by coyotes occasionally but is usually due to someone in the area feeding them.

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to be pedantic or argue with you , just trying to be informative

Yeah I gotchu. I’m just saying, it’s not impossible especially with how stupid people have become with feeding them and stuff. The coyotes of today are less afraid of humans than 100 years ago. I would be cautious.
