How's it looking? The font on the dial will be changed but how is the overall design guys? Any advice would be appreciated!

It originally had a black strap, but changed it out. Not a fan of the bund, so I don't use that.

Just got my Traska Commuter from the most recent drop. I went with the 36mm with a 7.25 inch wrist because of the white dial and the impression that it would appear slightly larger.

What are your thoughts? Does this look like the right size?

2026 marks 10 years since we started Von Doren, an independent Norwegian watch brand. To celebrate, we've just launched the Aksla Jubileum, a limited edition that brings us back to where it all began.

Ten years ago, in 2016, we released our very first watch, the Aksla. Named after the mountain overlooking Ålesund, a coastal town on Norway’s west coast, it represents the place where our story began. Ålesund has always been an important part of our identity, so revisiting the original Aksla felt like the perfect way to celebrate this milestone.

Hello, hope everyone is doing well. I own a watch company currently selling white label watches with my logo. I am going to make the transition into my own custom watches with a much more premium style. I plan on doing 300 unit drops every month with numbered "founders edition" watches and then release the regular style on my catalog.

First, I'm looking at the Miyota 9015 movement as my top choice right now, with potentially using different movements and skeleton movements in other drops for different styles. I want to sell the finished watches in the $275-$400 price range.

Where can I source Miyota 9015 movements for wholesale pricing? Where can I source custom dials from? Where can I source different/custom cases, straps, etc. from?

What other movements are good that you think people would pay that price for?

Should I buy the movement, and parts and assemble the watch myself with tools I bought? Or should I have a company assemble it for me? Do I need to get parts from multiple different suppliers?

I want the landed cost to be sub $150 if possible. Is this feasible? Any advice/recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Any recs on watches similar to the IWC ingenieur. Tried it on in a store recently and liked but think the price is absurd. Also not totally sold on an integrated bracelet just yet. I know it’s not a microbrand but don’t like the Tissot PRX.

I bought this PH-5A a month ago and have been wearing it a lot since it arrived. Just over a year ago I was prescribed with my first ever set of reading glasses where my eyes have deteriorated from years sat at a computer screen. So any watch with a great legible dial in all lighting conditions is a winner for me.

When the watch first arrived and I saw a slight green tinge to the lume blocks (pic 1), I thought I’d ordered the wrong colour. I checked my order and could see it said “blue”, which is what I wanted. I then went out in the sun and back in the house to see I do indeed have blue lume blocks (pic 2). It was earlier today that I was watching a video on YouTube which showed the same watch with blue lume but the blocks looked crisp white in the daylight (pic 3)

I’ve been back into Phorcydes website and I can see that they do a neon green option for the lume blocks, but they also glow green in the dark. So what the hell have I got here then?!

Clemence obviously has the amazing bracelet and specs but the Galo is extremely charming and I love the colours on that bezel, and the exaggerated dome on the crystal. Is the quality of the Clemence that amazing that it's worth choosing with a slightly less desirable colourway for my tastes?

Just received my first Traska (Commuter 38mm in Adriatic Blue) and I’m blown away by the quality. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
