Hi! Has anyone tried the Watier Perfection Glow-Boosting Tinted Serum? It's supposed to similar to the Chanel Skin Tint, supposedly more coverage than the Water Tint but a touch less than the Les Beige Tint. I'm considering buying it but don't want to splurge because it is $62 + tax. Does it last throughout the day? How does it affect your sunscreen underneath because it's better to spread with your fingers?

I took a break from makeup for a few years ago and I’m trying to restart my makeup routine from scratch since my old products haven’t been working well and so many new products have come out since then.

I recently picked up the Kylie skin tint and have been liking it so far and I’m going to start there if I don’t see any breakouts. Does anyone have any concealer recommendations that go well with it? I’m also on the hunt for a new powder and setting spray if anyone would like to share what they use as well!

Am I wrong for thinking this subscription box is a rip-off?

I subscribe to My Luxe Box, which costs $29 per box and comes quarterly. Their website advertises 7-8 products per box and showcases brands like Amika, Smashbox, Estée Lauder, OFRA, Givenchy, bareMinerals, and Bobbi Brown.
My latest box arrived today, and 3 of the products were EXACTLY the same SONA Cosmetics products and shades I received in my previous box. They’re $5 each at Giant Tiger. I also regularly receive Estate Cosmetics products sold at Dollarama, as well as Elf products.

This box contained a L’Oréal serum ($28.98), L’Oréal eyeliner ($12.79), three $5 SONA products, a miniature Clarins serum that isn’t sold at retail, and a lip balm sample on a cardboard card. That’s technically 7 items if you count the sample, but only a handful of actual products.
I’ve also complained before about the low value of the boxes and never received a response. On top of that, my latest box was marked fulfilled on September 1 but didn’t arrive until October 8, despite their website stating delivery usually takes 2-5 business days.

Am I being unreasonable, or does this seem misleading for a $29 quarterly subscription? I’ve already cancelled my subscription, but I’d love to hear other people’s experiences with My Luxe Box.

Can anyone share good suggestions for combinations of lip liners with gloss or lipsticks? I like the look of visible/slightly darker shade of liner that still matches the lipstick colour. I'm just so bad at pairing these together! Suggestions could be drugstore or higher end. I know Charlotte Tilbury and Make Up Forever sell these sets but I'm looking for other ideas.

Hiii, I have just been getting back into makeup again after not wearing it for a really long time.

I have found that on most days where I am not wearing much makeup, when I remove it afterwards I don't really experience any discomfort, but on days when I wear a lot of heavy eye makeup, I get really dry and irritated eyes after I take it off.... so I feel like it's something with how I am removing it.

Would love recommendations for how/what you use to remove eye makeup from others who have sensitive eyes.

hey all!! just like the title implies, i’m looking for recommendations on cheap drugstore makeup. i’m big on eyeshadow looks at home but i’ve wanted to venture out into full face territory a little more.

i’m looking most specifically for concealer, foundation, powder, and contour recommendations within the 5-15 dollar range but anything under 30 dollars would be awesome!! i’ve seen lots of chatting about essence for cheaper makeup but ive just heard very mixed reviews so i wanted to come here and ask.

i’m also looking for bright/colourful eyeshadow and glitter eyeshadow palettes if anyone has any recommendations! i’d love to get into fun daily makeup if i can find a cheaper palette or two.

I just recently purchased the MISSHA M perfect cover BB cream and I thought I FINALLY found my perfect shade match (shade No. 13) and texture for my suddenly dry skin. However it is sooo heavy on the fragrance I cannot handle it.

Does anyone have any recommendations? My skin used to be oily but now it's quite dry and I keep having foundations settle into lines or cling to dry spots. I feel like I've tried every foundation or BB cream under the sun. My favourite used to be the NYX born to glow foundation but they discontinued it and I've been in a slump since
