MacroFactor / Nutrition / Other Injury Logging

I am down with a back injury, so my diet and exercise routine is not where I have it set. I used to take 3 mile walks every day and now I can't walk that well. The back injury has had me down for two weeks, is there any way to log an injury so that things can be modified but I can still make some progress? Maybe not as much progress as before but something so it doesn't think I'm gaining all this weight by eating bonbons, although bonbons actually sound great. Lol

I lost 61lbs so far and 2-3 have creeped back and I just look not great from not lifting pr moving in general.

Right now, there isn't a way to directly log injuries in MacroFactor, but you won't need to worry too much about MacroFactor being unable to account for your reduced activity levels. As you continue logging your nutrition and weight, the app will recognize changes in your energy needs and adjust your expenditure estimate and calorie targets accordingly, which we explain in more detail here: What Should I Do If My Activity Levels Change Drastically?

As mentioned in the article, the app can generally account for significant changes in activity within 3-4 weeks. If your activity levels have dropped quite drastically, you can also temporarily eat a bit below your current calorie recommendations while the algorithm catches up, provided that doing so is appropriate for your recovery.

Congrats on your progress so far, and wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery!
