Weird one. When a video is paused in fullscreen in Safari, a normal click with my mouse doesn't resume it. If I hold the button a bit longer, or move the mouse slightly while clicking, it works. The trackpad works fine every time, and in windowed mode the mouse is fine too.
It's Safari only. Same mouse, same kind of click works in Chrome fullscreen and in the Apple TV app.
Setup: Mac mini M4, macOS 27.2 (26B5112a), Safari 27.2 (22625.2.8.11.6), Logitech MX Master 3S over Bluetooth. Works fine in Chrome 155.0.8059.80. Happens on YouTube and other sites.
What I've checked so far:
- Quit Logi Options+ and unloaded its agent, still happens
- No third-party apps intercepting input
- Logged the raw mouse events: every click arrives fine (down + up, no movement)
The interesting part is the difference in the events. Clicks that work always have a "mouse dragged" event in between, even a zero-pixel one. The trackpad always sends those, and so does a long press on the mouse. A quick, still click doesn't, and that's the one Safari ignores.
