Question In the game are there more home runs at Coors?
Is it realistic in that way in franchise? I haven’t played in that stadium much

Literally it covers the whole inside or outside of the plate. Like how are you supposed to pitch east west when there is literally 1 option if they always guess inside and outside is easier to hit with poor timing and pci placement

I loaded up Moonshot mini season for easy pitchers and knocked the programs out really fast even just on All Star but play whatever you want
And then just pitch Skenes, Chase Burns, and Yesavage

As most people can agree, moments are simply annoying obstacles that are required for program completion. “Play your way” doesn’t mean forcing a mode, but whatever.
As several people have already pointed out, there is also just no creativity in moments. “Hit a HR” or “Pitch an inning with no runs” make up the vast majority of all moments. Why not include defensive plays more, even if they are scripted Showtime ones? What about starting on 1st and having to score on a scripted hit in the gap? How about a sacrifice bunt, or throw out a runner stealing, or be the relay guy on a play at the plate? Basically, show off all baseball has to offer.
My next big gripe is somewhat related, but it simply takes too long to get through the monotonous slog of samey moments. I don’t want to spend an hour+ doing moments, especially when they have no variety. One fix is offering the ability for any and every in game mode to offer progress, and you pick and choose which to play (allowing you to do some moments, none at all, or all of them if you want). Repeatable game modes or missions (or even moments) could really help with this. Another thing goes back to what I mentioned before, which is that more variety is needed. If each moment offered something different, it would be more enjoyable to go through and complete it. I don’t know about you, but hitting 7 HRs in a row for moments is very tedious. Also, if moments had some scripted elements (hits by AI to the same place each time you try, Showtime defensive plays, guaranteed pickoff success in a pickoff moment, etc.), it would speed up moment completion by removing variability.
The final problem is that the AI can often be counterproductive, making it impossible for you to even do the moment. You might need to hit a HR in one at bat, yet you get 4 pitches nowhere near the zone and have to try again. That’s why before in my suggestions for more variety, I mentioned scripted parts of moments. If I need to specifically get some type of hit, make the AI throw (more) pitches in the zone. We’re often trying to replicate moments that actually happened in real life, not get lucky and hope for the AI to cooperate. Slight ruining of immersion when I purposely swing at balls just to see another pitch in an AB.
TLDR - Moments need an overhaul in creativity, time of completion, necessity, and AI decision-making. If you want to add to the discussion, feel free to let me know your thoughts and stay respectful.

I got back into gaming after a near 3 year break, so I'm still on The Show 23. This was a Pedro (Breaking Ball) build, using Break IV, Control IV, Control III & Conductor. I've never played baseball in life, I didn't even like watching baseball until I watched an anime called Ace of Diamond. Which is why I'm using the computer for the pitching sequence assistance.

Hey guys,
I’m playing a shortstop career mode and recently moved to second base, after making the switch I’ve noticed that training days between series have completely disappeared. Even the September rev-up speech from the coach disappeared. I figured it might’ve just been a glitch but I played through the rest of the season and started a new one and unfortunately still nothing. Has anyone experienced the same thing? I’m hoping there’s a fix. I’ve even gone and deleted the local save data and pulled it back from the cloud in the hopes of not having to start a fresh career but unfortunately it’s not looking good. Any assistance is appreciated.

5th inning, nobody has scored. I’ve been whiffing at his 103 fastballs all game. I finally line one up and he quits immediately.
This. Happens. Every. Game.
The last 6 or so games I shit you not, every single person has quit as soon as I take the lead by even just 1 point. Most in the 1st or 2nd inning. this shit is so annoying. I would rather play the entire game and end up losing than for my opponent to quit the moment I score. it’s a problem

For a game that attempts to be as realistic as possible. Why in the flying fawk are you allowed to switch pitchers in the middle of an at bat. It’s the dumbest thing ever. Rack up a dudes pitch count to get a good position in the at bat just to switch to a fresh dude throwing 101. Genuinely so stupid
Edit: I am well aware that the rules are the same for MLB. I know the game of baseball and all of your comments are hilarious. All I’m saying is the power to abuse that is cheeze and people who play like that are corny winners. It almost never happens in real life. Not saying never but almost. All in all just a cheesy way to win a game.

Hey y'all I'm a long time player and primarily an RTTS and franchise player. I really did not enjoy what 25 did to both modes, and I know that 26 has the same type of progression in RTTS, but I wanted to know if they increased the token payout or if it's still painfully slow to progress.

… You can face the same pitcher in back to back games, and absolutely crush them so bad the first game that they rage quit in the first inning after I drop 5 runs on them before even getting an out. Then 10 minutes later you’re looking like you’ve never even played this game in your life, getting no hit through 7. Pitcher was Johan Santana BTW.
The crazy part is, that 2nd opponent pulled Santana after the 7th with the no-no still intact, and I ended up winning the game 2-1.

Use more of the Topps integration and have the new team captain cards as the Home Field Advantage inserts. Would be another cool tie in to real life Topps products and could even help sell packs or single cards for new collectors.

Sure I’m fine with having SOME home run moments but 31?? That seems a little excessive.
