Ive had my r57 for almost 2 years now and its been amazing, got into autocross a few months ago and it does amazing and it extremely fun. Don't mind the oil stains, it doesnt leak... anymore.

Taillights doing jazz hands during the emergency braking. Did not know that the car adjusts the windows and seats for impact during sudden braking.

As far as i can tell, my 2023 F56 is running the iD5 system. I'd like the full display version of Apple Car Play, i downloaded an app for my Android and ofc wanna use it now.

Can i upgrade from iD5 to iD6? If yes, what are the pros and cons, and most importantly, how do i even do it? Run to a workshop? Do i need an entire new display unit? Whats the cost?

Gen 2 Cabrio with super low miles in pristine condition. Timing chain has not been replaced. Price is about double KBB. Private seller.

I'm leary of the N14 of course. Avoid at all costs? I do have mechanical skills but I've never done a timing chain replacement.

2019 COuntryman S AWD

Drove car for 1.5 hours. When car stopped for five min turning the car back on there was a very loud FAN. Least sounded like a fan that ran for 20
Seconds. I also hear a ticking like a blinker.

Drove 1.5 hours. No over hearing no warning lights fan wasn’t kicked on.

Morning start heard fan for a few seconds. (I’m
Calling it a fan I don’t know. Was loud noise) not normal.

High speed don’t hear it. Drove car out it in park and the car shut down. Would not start. Pressed the start button and hear one click. What gives. What’s going on. Are they related? I need help anyone

I've decided to go for a MINI! I'm looking at 2012-2013 Mini Cooper or Mini Cooper S withe the N16 and N18 engines respectively I believe.

Some last advice please,

what do I go for? Do I spend a little more on the N18 Cooper S, or is reliability virtually the same and driving experience is the only difference

How customisable are they? Interior etc?

How fun are they!!

What do I check for when looking at one?

As far as im aware, the thermostat was the biggest issue was the thermostat, can I get a much more durable thermostat aftermarket?

Lastly, how do I keep it well maintained? from what I understand, mostly just keeping topped up on oil and fluids?

Hello! I was working on my radio over the weekend and I believe a wire disconnected…not sure where it connects, I’ve spent over an hour trying to figure it out. Pretty sure it has something to do with my door locks because that is currently not working. Help please!

Ciao a tutti , ho una mini countryman del 2020 2000 150 cv a seguito di un piccolo urto contro un marciapiede , di striscio, per cui ho rotto una gomma ho cambiato ammortizzatori . Avvertivo un rumore metallico sotto il cofano, un ‘clack’ quando prendevo dossi più importanti e il mio meccanico ha cambiato ammortizzatori perché l’unica cosa fuori posto che ha trovato è un piccolo gioco dello stelo dell’ammortizzatore per cui ho dovuto cambiarli entrambi, ma questo rumore lo avverto ancora se pur di meno intensità. Non lo avverto sempre quando prendo dossi o dossi, ma lo avverto a basse velocità quando l’escursione dell’ammortizzatore è più rapida. Dalla convergenza non è risultato nulla di anomalo e altro il meccanico non ha trovato. Saprete darmi qualche dritta?

I’m not sure if my parking hand brake cable has snapped? Or if it needs adjusting. Please can someone advise.

As you will see in the video I can move the left cable back down to match the right side, but once the parking brake is applied this left side gets pulled forward more. I suspect it is just broken but maybe it’s also moved out of place? I had my driveshaft removed yesterday so this might be a cause?

Hi! How do I repair a deep scratch (more like a chip) in the paint? They have a kit online but I'm unsure who to order from, how to go about filling it in, and what to do to paint it.

I can't take it to an auto shop. I don't have the money for something like that, so I'd like to try to myself
