Im trying to stay under $100. I noticed that some places charge $250+. Others under $80. Some in between. Some pushing engine compression testing which I am told is not necessary and overkill.

Should I rule out any of these? Difficult decision here and im late to this reddit group.

Lastly, the main issue I need them to check (in addition to all other stuff) is that 2nd Gen Honda Pilots are known for VCM oil issue (spark plug fouling, oil consumption, misfires, catalytic converter code 0403, piston ring issues, etc) all arising from the same VCM issue. VCM shuts off a cylinder for ECO mode. Oil enters and if I understand correctly, lingers or leaks. Chips said its not worth pulling the spark plugs. Not sure what to do since this is the main thing these vehicles are known for.

Hi all,

Does anyone recommend a nail tech in the Louisville or southern Indiana area? I have very brittle nails since I am type 1 diabetic and I cannot do the drill without my nails burning during the manicure and breaking afterwards. Most walk-in salons overuse the drill or have denied me or ignored me when I asked not to use it. I used to be a client with 502 nails but sadly she has moved :( Thank you!
