Are there any more elevated or well-dressed nightlife spots? We are all in our late 30s and would ideally like to find a spot with bottle service and a slightly older crowd (25+) - trying to avoid the college or fresh-out-of college tshirt and baseball hat crowd!
Do either Halo or Roxy for this description?

I have to choose a new dentist soon and it’s killing me. I have had one experience in the past with local anesthesia not working as a result of my EDS (I asked them to numb me up more 3 times and decided to just sit through the pain as it wasn’t working) and ever since then my fear of the dentist has gotten worse.
Cleanings freak me out a bit too, but I’m mainly concerned with making sure I see someone who would be patient and understanding in a situation where I may need a filling, root canal, etc etc… I don’t need sedation, but the option to have laughing gas is a must.

Do you like sumo? Fun crowds? Big boys? Sake?
Well c'mon down to the Void in November to watch some sumo. It's always a great time. Sumo streamed from Japan with a live in-house English commentator expert to tell you what's going on. There's contests. There's art vendors (myself included, I did the poster & all the art). Did I mention it's Free.99?
Don't miss it!

I moved to Lexington last year, and one of my favorite things is to stumble upon a piece of public art. But when I moved, it was during the height of the giant silver anal beads controversy, they had just been installed. And now, after learning about the mural painting project by PRHBTN I was inspired to write this article on my Substack. It is a reflection on how, for better or worse, public art brings a vitality to our communities, one that is essential to a democratic way of life. As a newbie around here, I hope you find the humor as intended. (I also considered including an image of the tallest building on earth, but I couldn't fit it in one full shot, should have tried a panoramic view?)

There are several articles out there but I decided to directly link FCPS on this. The state results were released at midnight last night and FCPS is doing great and has seen significant gains.
I was surprised to see no one had posted anything on reddit yet. For a direct summary you can click here:

This is a survey about attitude toward healthcare. I'm trying to get some data about Lexington specifically, so I figured I'd test my luck here.

Does anyone know where I can find these seasonal treats in Lexington that isn't a pumpkin patch/farm? I know that there are several dank donut shops in town and I'm wondering if anyone has spotted these spooky sought-after delicacies anywhere local👀

Is anyone really performing at peak levels at 80 years old. Would you want an 80 year old surgeon?

Another Lexington Herald-Leader story on Central Kentucky's 6th Congressional District race (gift link, no paywall), this time with Zach Dembo and Ralph Alvarado's differing views on the Iran war.

I'm looking for work in the Lexington area that offers genuinely flexible hours. Possibly, something where I can set my own schedule and/or work independently rather than having to commit to a traditional 9–5 or a fixed weekly schedule.
I'm a single mother with children who have mental health and behavioral needs, so my availability can vary from day to day. Some days I may be able to work a full eight hours, while other days I may only have four hours available. I'm looking for something that allows me to adjust my schedule as needed, not necessarily a job with a limited number of hours.
I have experience in residential cleaning, deep cleaning, light cleaning, landscaping, organization, and retail. I'm a bit of a jill-of-all-trades and have a wide range of skills. I'm extremely thorough, detail-oriented, and take pride in doing things right. I'm also a very quick learner. If there's something I don't already know how to do, I'm confident in my ability to learn it quickly and figure things out as I go.
I'm open to all kinds of work, including opportunities that would allow me to learn new skills or get into something completely different from what I've done before. I'm not afraid of hard work, and I'm comfortable working independently, problem-solving, and taking initiative.
If anyone knows of any jobs, businesses, independent contracting opportunities, or other ways that might fit this kind of arrangement, I'd really appreciate any suggestions!
Thanks!

Long time lurker but a transplant from different state. I have 3 kiddos and my car is an absolute wreck with stained seats and food stains. I’d like to do this myself but I don’t have any time. I tried using soap and vinegar but these are tough stains.
Any recommendations for car detailing with good reviews in this city? I saw car sweep but looking around and seeing if there are other trusted options? You have used?
TL;DR - recos for car indoor detailing companies in lexington for car seat stains and carpets

Going to a concert this weekend and staying at the Spring Hills Suites. Is it easier to walk to the concert, take Uber, or use another service?
Never been to Lexington so not sure how best to get to the concert without having to pay $40-50 for parking.

My SUV has 20% tint on rear Windows (from factory). I love the same tint all the way around- right now my fronts are clear
Google says 35% is the legal limit on front windows (I'm talking driver add passenger Windows, NOT the windshield)
If I do 20% to match the rear, how do the local fuzz, the 5-0, the coppers - how will they respond? Will I even be bothered?
