I find it hilarious that Lexus owners will always park next to each other! Every time I’ve gone out in my 2004 RX330 another Lexus, especially the RX350’s will always, and I mean always find a way to park next to, in front of, or behind my car.
Today I had a Lexus next to me, one in front of me, and one behind me, just gotta say I absolutely love it

Is this car worth the price? Listed at $9000 It's only got 63,000 miles on it! Looking for a 2nd car that is use for daily driving to and from work and need something reliable. What should I look for in terms of checking the vehicle out? Any major concerns with this model year or it being 20 years old?

I have a 2016 Lexus IS 200T F sport. So for a year and a half my radio has been turning on and off. In the beginning. it would stay on for the most part and in the past year it has stayed completely off, but my backup camera still works but my screen for my maps and my music and Bluetooth does not pop up at all. On my dashboard icons, the music icon still shows, but it is just empty. Everytime my radio reboots it says software update and it’ll stay on for about 5 minutes at most and turn off again. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Based in UK:
As the title says, I'm being offered a 2025 UX 300 as a company car and I don't know much about it.
It would also be my first electric car and effectively a 2nd car for us not doing too many long trips.
What's the general impression of the car? Reliable? Good range? Etc etc

Posting again because this dumb potential issue is stopping me from buying a lexus.
Hey all,
I’ve been looking at buying a new Lexus. However there’s been one problem/feature that many people seem to struggle with that seems really annoying when it comes to newer lexus cars. I read that one person even had to sell their car because of how annoying it was.
And that is driver monitor assist camera on top of the steering wheel that tracks to see if you’re paying attention to the road or not. I know you can disable it. But even when you turn it off, you apparently get an alert every 5 seconds saying that "driver monitor assist is unavailable, see the owner's manual".
How do people disable this fully? Do you guys just deal with it? Is this what stops me from buying myself a lexus? I’m hoping some people have good solutions since I really like the car otherwise and I don’t want to look into other brands.
I live in Sweden if that’s relevant at all.

I am considering getting a rc200t as my first proper car. I’m currently in a 92kw (approx 130hp) 1.4tfsi Audi a3. I see a lot of people saying the 4 banger is a bit gutless, but because of Australian laws I can’t drive the v6. Would it be worth getting a 200t considering that? Of would getting a euro with a turbo 4 be better? The looks of the rc is what really attracts me, but the apparent lack of power is something I need to consider, even with the beautiful looks and interior.

I’ve owned my 2015 Lexus rc 350 f sport for 2 years and put 40k miles on it, never had a check engine light. Got one today and my former German ownership ptsd hit me like oh no, it’s gonna be really bad and expensive. Got a code scan and it just needs a new fuel cap lol. Lexus quality is awesome.

I’m considering a bit older RX hybrid.
How concerned should I be about the battery life? I’m looking at ones with 30-50k miles. I may consider an older GX..
As you can see LAST Lexus service was at mile 10321. Then 3 years later stoner dude ("Personal lease" according to CarFax) turned it in. No Lexus service during those 3 years.
Yet this dealer still L/Certified it ? WTF ? Is this just not right ?

Hey everyone!
Very curious if anyone in this subreddit has replaced their own control arms before.
Just ordered some and been watching videos relating it to.
Seems to be people go at it at many different angles.
Clearly I'm seeing I'll have to loosen the transmission mount and jack up the transmission. Then loosen the three 17mm bolts. Others are saying you'll also have to remove the top engine mount as well.
Very curious and would love to hear what anyone has DIY themselves? I have mechanic experience and I just want to save myself from the hassle this weekend and do it right.
Thank you in advance!

Hey guy, I’ve got a 2022 RX350 with ML. When i turn on any audio source the text info flickers(generic text like track 1 for CDs) and no audio comes out. Both the steering wheel volume and dash volume knob are unresponsive. But you can still turn it on and off with the knob.
I’ve tried both soft reset and disconnecting the battery. Any ideas?

Hi everyone! I’m new to the Lexus ecosystem and trying to decide which pre-owned vehicle to purchase. I’m currently considering the GX 460, RX 350, and RX 450h, with a budget of $25-31k. I’d love to hear what you’d recommend!
For context, it’s just me and my boyfriend, and we’re in our late twenties living in San Francisco. Neither of us commutes by car, so we’d primarily use it for errands around the city, weekend trips, and camping. We don’t plan to do any off-roading.
We love a beautiful car, but we’re not car people, so reliability, practicality, and reasonable maintenance costs are important to us. We’d also love something that’s fun (why I’m GX curious) and feels special to own!
I spotted these two side by side on Sunday morning and couldn't ignore how similar they look. I never thought I would see the day when a Lexus reminds me of a KIA but here we are.

We’ve own toyota and have been looking into getting a Lexus NX350h.
For those that have owned both Toyotas and Lexus vehicles, have you noticed a premium price when doing routine services/repair on the Lexus or are they comparable to Toyota?
If I get the hybrid, is the hybrid system repair pricey?

Car is listed at $25.4k and it has 12.3in navigation screen, mark levinson speakers, and 88k miles. I think it’s a bit high since it has a minor accident on its carfax.
What’s a reasonable purchase price here? Fyi - I am also trading in a 2017 honda accord with 129k miles and minor accident for $6.6k. Is it reasonable to try to snag the lexus for $22k-23k + my trade in? Should I be negotiating different? If it helps secure the deal I would also finance with lexus if the rate is similar to outside financing.

Is it the proprietary/proven engineering?
Is it the tech?
Is it the materials and the workmanship?
What else and what matters most to you?

After countless hours of research and bidding farewell to my 2008 3 Series, I upgraded to a 2025 ES 350 Ultra Luxury with under 6200 miles a couple weeks ago.
Almost landed a Caviar/Black former loaner with 9k miles, but the dealer refused to repair some damage I spotted. This one-owner Moonbeam Beige/Palomino popped up the same day that deal fell through, and I greatly prefer this color combo and ownership history, so I had to pounce.

Started my search with SUVs but quickly realized I'm a sedan guy through and through. Other contenders were the Genesis G80, BMW 540, and IS 350. Was dead set on a new car at the outset because it's my first car purchase, but this car has literally everything I wanted except CPO status and AWD (I work from home, so I doubt I'll even need to go the snow tire route and will just drive carefully when necessary lol). The bang for your buck was a no-brainer for me relative to the competition.
Feels like I caught one of the last V6 choppers out of 'Nam while managing to avoid rationalizing the 2026 ES abomination. Fired up to join the Lexus club!

Most new vehicles do not come standard with door side bump moldings any longer. I'm sure its an esthetic issue, however I'm still getting door dings from careless drivers in parking lots. For $300 Cdn, my local dealer will install side moldings. I'm of two minds here. I want my car to be ding free and I want a stream lined look (no molding). What thoughts do you have on the issue? I'm leaning towards molding as i keep my cars over 10 years. RX350 2022. Thanks
