Mega Care Medicator

[u/CatKicka]

I've been working on this for a few months on and off, glad to finally have it completed! Aside from that one light grey panel in the front, don't pay attention to that.

[u/NydusRush]

Yooo, this is sick! I love how many little play features it has, and the colors are so unique.

[u/CatKicka → u/NydusRush]

Thank you! I had a lot of fun designing it around the colors of the space minifigs from the educational sets. They looked like hospital scrubs to me, so I ran with it!

[u/TheGladeRunner → u/NydusRush]

Did you say sick? Quick, someone call the Mega Care Meditacator!

Also OP, I adore this. I would love to see a whole line of reimaginings like this!

Standing by for when your patient safely makes it back to Earth! Sweet rig you have there.

[u/rudirofl → u/dodgeboy98neon]

missing the helicopter - sadly not in the catalog anymore

[u/ThePeej]

GLORIOUS. I’m a sucker for a theme swap, and the original inspiration this is on my white-whale list!

[u/CatKicka → u/ThePeej]

Haha yeah, love the OG M-Tron one! It's a little outside my price range though, lol

[u/Calithrand → u/ThePeej]

I think that's on everyone's white whale list! I just recently went out and picked up a Spectral Starguider, because I need giant wheeled crawlers, and that's the best best alternative...

[u/the_bartolonomicron]

Oh wow, I love this entire concept! Great colors and consistent design language, it both feels like it belongs in the modern City/Space and also like classic play sets.

[u/AWandMaker]

That’s sweet! I rebuilt my M-Tron one a few years ago. Love the alternate theme!

[u/NeoStormer]

I've been sleeping on these sets, now i want them :)

[u/Mydogisspiteful]

Love it!

[u/trans-fused]

This is soooo cool!

[u/someonetookmyid]

Brilliant!

[u/ArtIsDumb]

I love it. What you've done here is great.

[u/raven319s]

Excellent!

[u/nrmowery]

But not a Medical Droid Nurse in sight? She's a perfect fit as an android helper

[u/CatKicka → u/nrmowery]

Haha the one I have is already taking care of my blue and pink Classic Space babies!

[u/PhilipmeinMoc]

This is awesome!

I recently put together a lot of my childhood space sets, mainly smaller ships, but it really inspired me to build a space MOC that blends modern and classic. I feel like your build does a great job of that. Well done!

[u/CatKicka → u/PhilipmeinMoc]

Thank you! Haha I recently gathered the parts for my first Lego set too, it was the 6810 Futuron Laser Ranger!

[u/Acceptable-Health374]

Smart decision to use the education space color scheme for a medical emergency faction

[u/Judekw2070]

Love it!

[u/YodasChick-O-Stick]

You unlocked the Mega Core Magnetizer good ending

[u/CIDphi]

Rad set. I love the colors.

[u/v0idL1ght]

Love it

[u/vewfb]

This is brilliant. I'd love a Space Doctors faction.

[u/heckhammer]

What? They got into a little fender bender and hadn't had the time to get it to the shop so they could spray paint it the right color.

Problem solved.

[u/BlacktronExplorer]

What wheels are those? Love my Purism but those Mega Core Wheels are ridiculous and these look like a fantastic substitute

[u/CatKicka → u/BlacktronExplorer]

They're the 68.7 mm balloon tires, and they're on PAB right now! They're just about the right size since the original hard plastic wheels are 72 mm, and they're much friendlier to your wallet!

[u/BlacktronExplorer → u/CatKicka]

Thank you so much!

[u/Jules-of-Jubilee]

I would collect this theme

[u/HoneyLocust1]

Great job. Thanks for sharing!

[u/Repost-Boy]

Wow, awesome - so cool!

[u/lucascorso21]

I absolutely love the colors on this. It feels retro yet looks so modern.

Well done, OP!

[u/reedit42]

Really cool idea, makes sense to have a medic faction if theres space police!

[u/CatKicka → u/reedit42]

Thanks! Haha that was my exact line of reasoning!

[u/buzzdee28]

i love it

A brilliant model and a beautiful new take on the legendary M-Tron set. With 310 upvotes (including mine) in just 12 hours, I see definite “MOC of the Month” potential for your awesome model here on r/Legospace. Amazing work - The design is great, and the name "Mega Care Medicator" is also very cleverly chosen. In two words—Mega Awesome!
