Will be in Vegas next Tuesday-Thursday of next week for the first time celebrating my birthday! Looking for recommendations of things to do during the day time (must see bars, brunch, lively spots). Staying at the Wynn!

I was hiking the Wild Horse Canyon and Ridge Loop in Lee Canyon on Thursday, October 15, around 4:30pm. A small white off-leash dog named Marshmallow nipped my ankle and calf and broke the skin.

I'm not looking to cause trouble for anyone. I just need to confirm she's current on her rabies vaccine and stays healthy for 10 days. If I can't find her, I may need a rabies shot series that can cost thousands.

Description:

- Marshmallow: small white terrier, possibly a poodle mix, wearing a pink vest

- Owner: blonde white woman

- She also had a medium-sized dog that looked like a whippet

Going to Vegas this weekend to celebrate my birthday.

My birthday was just two days ago and i renewed my California ID however it expired on my BDAY.

Does anyone know if whether i can still get into bars and use it at casinos even though it will no longer scan?

I have my expired ID + renewal receipt but the DMV says it takes 2-3 weeks til i receive my physical ID card.

I’ll be visiting Vegas for the first time and wanted to ask how much I should tip the costumed characters, showgirls, superheroes, etc., if I want to take photos with them.

I understand they can’t legally demand a specific price, but what would be considered a reasonable and polite tip? I’ve seen videos of some of them quoting rates like “$60 and $60,” which seems way too expensive for some quick photos.

Would $10 - $15 be a reasonable amount, or is that considered too little?

One thing my husband and I are interested in are the pools (rooftop pools?). Does anyone have any specific pool recommendations? We are staying at Treasure Island!

Successful and easygoing guy staying at an upscale hotel on the strip at the end of Oct or early Nov to escape the realities of a crumbling marriage. Planning to see a couple concerts and otherwise hit the pool and fun restaurants.

Coming all the way from Scotland to see the raiders came on the 27th vs the titans. Keeping track of prices and we are unsure whether to just bite the bullet and buy tickets now, or see if prices will go down. I’ll be visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday and driving into Vegas from Arizona in a rental car. My initial thought was to get a one-way rental car from PHX to LAS, then return the car and Uber to the Strip when I get into Vegas, but that seems like a hassle.

Are there particular hotels/rental car companies that would allow me to drive to the Strip directly and return the car there, even if I’m not starting my trip in Vegas? (Hoping to stay at Park MGM or somewhere else close to T-Mobile Arena, so this area of the Strip preferred please!)

I was wondering if the unhoused folks that live in the drainage tunnels in Vegas are given any warning of upcoming rain. Seems like it could be a very bad situation if not.

I have rented a car from ACE and their office doesn't open until 8am, my flight starts boarding at 9:40 so I have to drop the car off before they open. On the website it says you cannot drop the car off until they open at 8am. Has anyone dropped the car off before 8am? If so what did you do?
