Our Friends of the Library group is hosting its fall plant and book sale from noon to 3 p.m. at 3854 W 54th St, Los Angeles, CA 90043. Sorry, very few of the edible plants survived the weather changes, but there will be both outdoor plants and houseplants available. Come support the library and take home a new plant friend or two.

Selling my DJ setup: 2x Pioneer CDJ-900s, Pioneer DJM-600 mixer, and a flight case. One CDJ has a small scratch on the screen, but it doesn’t obstruct visibility and doesn’t affect performance at all. The DJM-600 is missing the knob caps for the level/depth and channel select controls, but both controls still work and the caps are cheap/easy to replace if you want it looking perfect. Asking price 1100. Hit me up with any questions !

-the runt of her litter so she is shorter than her sister 🥹
-beautiful yellow eyes w lots of green in them
-round face
-needs to be swaddled for nail trims but doesn’t fight too much during. forgives you if you give her treats before/after
-loves wand toys but her current fave toy is a piece of string w a twisty tie at the end (Annabel likes this too)
-likes most treats (i hide them around apt and she likes to hunt for them)
-seems to only meow when she wants to play
-plays more than Annabel
-loves pets
-enjoys cat tv
-picky w wet food brands but after discovering the freeze dried stuff, just sprinkle and mix that into their food and she’ll eat most brands of wet (but 2 brands she particularly likes are Inaba churu entrees cups and weruva high moisture cans)
-gets along well w other cats
-not as nervous/scared around strangers but you’ll still have to go slow. Once she’s comfortable w you you can pick her up
-doesn’t appear to eat wire, cords or plants
-drinks water well (kidney disease is common in older cats)

Annabel:
-wears the pink collar
-silky shiny smooth black hair
-lanky & long legs
-narrow face
-yellow eyes
-tolerates her nails being cut extremely well - no swaddling needed !
-doesn’t like most treats but loves S&C freeze dried chicken
-meows when really hungry or wants pets
-loves pets, purrs easily
-loves running, climbing high, laser pointer and wrestling
-likes to play but also likes to sleep a lot more than Poe
-nervous and shy around strangers but warms up fairly quickly . You can pick her up once she’s comfortable
-picky w wet food brands but after discovering the freeze dried stuff, just sprinkle and mix that into their food and she’ll eat most brands of wet (but 2 brands she particularly likes are Inaba churu entrees cups and weruva high moisture cans)
-doesn’t appear to eat wires and cords
-goes after plants (but hasn’t in a while) so cat grass is great distraction - she loves it
