my student loans finally came 😩 is there an update on the second disbursement though? i keep getting told different things

I am currently a student at another community college. While filling out an application to attend WLAC as a part-time student, I keep encountering the following message: "College/University 1: You cannot have an Enrollment Status of 'First-time Student at a U.S. College' if you have attended other U.S. colleges." What should I do?

Last year, I made the Dean’s Honor List, attended a ceremony celebrating our achievements, and received a $500 award. I made the list again this year and received confirmation by email in June, but haven’t heard anything since about a ceremony or award. I even went to campus to ask, but every staff member I spoke with acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, which was extremely frustrating. Has anyone else received any updates, or did the school change its process?

Anyone know what date Admissions is allowing students to enroll in to courses for winter 27?

Hey everyone just looking to see if anyone here gets basketball runs in the gym let me know!

Hi, if there is anyone who has taken Geog 002 over the past summer at ELAC, could you please PM me the syllabus for the course? I’m facing logistical issues regarding credit transfers at my university and would really appreciate the support!

when is the next disbursement? ik its in late october early november but when specifcally?

Just posted today. applied on 9/10. Was approved about a week or 2 ago. Disbursed today

It's either that or I'm gonna probably fail it, because 2 cs classes for me is too hard for me in one semester.

Hi everyone! ❤️

I'm planning to attend Los Angeles Mission College in Spring 2027 and I'm currently looking for affordable housing in the LA area.

I'm hoping to connect with LAMC students or anyone living nearby who might know of an affordable room, a roommate opportunity, or possibly temporary accommodation while I get settled.

I'm flexible about the exact location as long as commuting to campus is manageable. If anyone has any advice, recommendations, or knows someone who might be able to help, I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you so much! ❤️

Anybody got any idea on when to expect our student loans at lattc ?

Got my bank mobile check today in the mail FINALLY took 8 days to come, cashed it perfectly fine at a PLS cash checking location 😊

Is there anyone else who hasn’t received their financial aid supplemental disbursement for the classes that started on 9/14?

Has anyone at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC) been awarded a scholarship but never received the actual money?
Back in June, I was awarded the $500 Dr. Polly Garstka Scholarship and even received a physical award certificate. However, I never received the money.
I’ve checked my student account, financial aid disbursement history, and the scholarship website, but there’s no record of the scholarship being posted or disbursed.
I already contacted the financial aid office about this but haven’t received a response.
Has anyone else experienced this at LATTC? If you’ve received a scholarship through the school, how long did it take for the funds to be disbursed? Did you receive it through BankMobile, a mailed check, or another method?
I’m just trying to figure out who I need to contact or what steps I should take next.

Has anyone gotten their check in the mail from last week’s disbursement? They said they mailed mine out October 1 I still haven’t gotten my check 😭

This question applies to those who are put on waitlist or already accepted into the program or already completed it even if it was years ago, Is/was the waitlist really 1-2 semesters long? Thanks!

Has anyone here ever asked for an increase for their loan adjustment request before? If so, how long did it take for it to get approved and show up in your bank account?

Anybody know when we get our 2nd disbursement for fasfa?

Finally got my cal grant award after submitting the day of the deadline lol. Just a question after it says awarded on your portal what is the next step? I think CSAC told me they will process it and then over the weekend my school should recieve it and they are the ones who disburse it but I couldn’t clearly understand what the rep said in the end 🫩
