Rules

No doxing. Do not request others to find information about an individual or attempt to do so yourself. This is a site-wide reddit rule that is strictly enforced.
No ARGs. r/InternetMysteries is a subreddit dedicated to obscure real-world happenings that are primarily rooted on the Internet. If you have an ARG to share, r/ARG is the place to be.
No harassment. Do not harass others. This includes name-calling, demeaning remarks, and spreading blatant hate and discrimination of any kind.
No drama. Do not start drama and unnecessary arguments. We're all here to share our findings and engage in constructive conversation. Not everyone will agree on everything posted on this subreddit. This is fine. Discuss your disagreements in a civil manner or action will be taken. Anyone here for the sole reason of starting a fight will be banned.
No spam. No post or comment spam is allowed.
No self-promotion. No link-dropping your content. r/InternetMysteries is a hub for mystery discussion - not free promo.
No low-quality posts. If your post contains little-to-nothing about strange/creepy things on the Internet, or if it contains something that's obviously very mundane, it will be removed.
Follow the Posting Guidelines. All posts must have quality; containing enough substance or depth to allow engaging conversation over the subject matter. Any post less than 500 characters in length will be automatically removed. Furthermore, in an effort to cut down on spam, a certain level of karma (> 1) and account history (> 4hr) is required to make a post. If you haven't met the criteria, yours will automatically be removed.
