He had a great opportunity to learn something new and fully understand in case he finds himself in that situation again. That's the part I never understand, it's free knowledge that can help your job.

It’s just unbelievable! The inability to admit that he didn’t know about the process and learn something new is astounding! Not only did he display his ignorance, he has given this foreigner a negative first-hand experience of what law enforcement looks like in the United States!

Instead of admitting his ignorance, he had to lie about another call to go to.

Its wild af, like even if he thought he didn't know about something, take the ID and go back to the cruiser and get ur lil smarty pants fone out you lil pocket and do yourself a googley. Lol. OR if you got fat thumbs or cant remember how to spell Google, you can grab that radio do-hicky on your shoulder and just ASK. they literally have to have a resource capable of looking up any + all laws & regulations a cop might come across. This is definitely something that they can look up. Then when he finds out, he can go back to the car he pulled over & wont have to play a guessing game of "is this legal or illegal" cuz he WILL KNOW. But why waiste all that time when u can look likeva power tripping imbecile RIGHT NOW!!! LMMFAO!!!
