Confused between Pulsar N160 2V SS (Dual Channel ABS) and Yamaha FZ-S V4 (Single Channel ABS). Both are costing me around 1.6 Lakhs

Purchased bike in June. Getting to be that time of the season and I want to ask the tribe, what tender/chargers do you use over the off season? Probably have a few more weeks of riding before needing to grab one but it’s been top of mind the past few days. 2026 Sport Scout RT.

New bike / New to me Indian Super Scout with tech package

• Upvotes

Hi all. I’ve been looking at a 2025 Indian Super scout with the tech package. I’ve been seeing some mixed info on it. Some say they have to have theirs on trickle chargers because of the battery drain from the display. Display is fairly sluggish compared to an analog.

Someone on fb marketplace has had theirs for sale for 10 months. They live out in BFE. Unsure if the location is the lack of sale. Or the bike. I offered them 10500 and they were good with that. Bike and tires still under factory warranty, per them. It’ll be my first Indian and don’t want to make a 10k mistake.

Any insight on if the complaints are real would be fantastic! Or if I should look more at the non tech package versions. I was really only looking for the rogue/super scout with abs and found this one.

Eileen finally hit 1901 miles, so here's my obligatory post. I love this bike. She's my first air cooled V-Twin and I couldn't be happier to be part of the tribe. 🤙

Pullback Riding Position

About to pull the trigger on 8 Inch pull-back risers and second-guessing myself. Notes Scout Sport comes with 6 inch riser so going an extra few inches up and back. Photo of stock riding position vs. where my hands should be with pullbacks. Feet are sitting on Scout Mini Floorboards. Am I too relaxed with the pullback or too locked in the stock position? Reference: I am 5'10".
