Discussion Hisoka hit Chrollo twice in Heaven's Arena, and it wasn't a fake Chrollo
I know this is already obvious to many people. But recently, I saw a post where most seemed to misunderstand this moment, thinking that Chrollo was never hit in images 1 and 2, and that Hisoka was actually hitting the same clone that appears in image 3. Because of this, I decided to make this post explaining how it's basically impossible that it wasn't Chrollo at that moment
At that time, Chrollo was using 3 Nen techniques: Sun and Moon (S.M), Fake Gallery (F.G), and Order Stamp (O.S)
S.M is a technique that works through post-mortem Nen, allowing Chrollo to use it even without a bookmark and with the book closed (He will only use the bookmark or the book page to activate the ability). Furthermore, we later discover that it synergizes with F.G, causing the created clones to not disappear in the same way as S.M if they are marked.
Due to the special properties of the S.M, Chrollo could use it and the F.G without inserting a bookmark or opening to the page. This meant he could use the O.S along with another Nen ability while two other abilities remained active
And that's the problem: for the clone theory to work, Chrollo would have to be using Convert Hands (C.H) and Black Voice (B.V) to create the clone. However, for that to work, he would have to use THREE abilities simultaneously (disregarding S.M and F.G), which is beyond Chrollo's capabilities
What actually happened was that after the escape, Chrollo deactivated O.S and activated B.V and C.H, which allowed him to create the clone
"Okay, but what if O.S remains the same as F.G when used with S.M?"
If that were the case, there would be no reason for Chrollo to have deactivated the O.S (Image 4) right after escaping from Hisoka. To tell the truth, nothing in the fight suggests that; in fact, we never see Chrollo use O.S, C.H, and B.V at the same time
Finally, I hope this has made it clearer why Chrollo was hit. Also, it's important to remember that I may have made mistakes or logical errors; any corrections are welcome.
