i know she got a lot of flack because she’s in so much stuff but i’ve been a fan of mckennas since gifted so i was already so excited for that casting but on top of that, she fought for book accuracy!!!

it’s really nice seeing someone who’s a genuine fan of the series fight for it to be as accurate as it can be!!! i love her and i can’t wait to see the movie, i’m so excited for it

content and media made by fans of the original source is always so good and i’m glad we got this 🤞

Meta/Advice It's difficult to be a HG fan who's "part of the capital"

I tried my best to come up with a title but I'm not sure if it makes sense lol. What I mean is that I don't like how liking Hunger Games merch, liking the press conference and interview stuff is "capital behavior". Every time I see a video of the actors for SOTR promoting the movie, the comments are always talking about how the promotions give off capital vibes. I love THG and understand the storynand its message 100%, but every franchise advertises their content the same way, but when THG does it, it comes off as capital behavior. Again, I'm not hating on the actors, the movies, the books, or the fan base in any way, I just think it's frustrating for THG advertisements to get hated on for doing what it needs to.

Also this is my first time posting in this community so I didn't quite know which flair to label it as😅

° "Low Effort Recommendations" includes random list of Hunger Games Fanfics or a random screenshot of a fanfic taken from a fanfic website and asking people to read them.
"Asking For Fanfic Recommendations" are allowed but only when they are high effort in nature like are actually giving a detailed scenerio of what kind of fanfic users are looking for.

° Low Effort posts here includes posts like, "Can I get some fanfic recs?" or "Do you have any Everlark Fanfic recommendations?", etc.

° Low Effort posts will be removed and be redirected to our Fanfic Guide and Library Megathread instead.
