Coworker says they can't read my cursive?
I feel like mine is pretty readable in general but it's not really neat and organized either.

for context I love writing my letters thin and tall. I also only use purple pen and I'm right-handed .
I always get nagged by teachers that my writing is hard to decipher since they're a tad close in certain spots.
enjoy my world history notes š
edit - I also grip my pen in a weird way that causes me to have a massive callous on my ring finger, anyone else have that issue?

I only recently learned cursive and am entirely self-taught with it. I've never been super proficient in handwriting, but my friends say it's hard to read. Thoughts?
Edit: I realise I messed up the cursive phrase. I struggle to remember what I'm writing in cursive, my bad!

Thank you! I am so curious. In a very different phase of life and curious what my handwriting says about that š

iāve been told for years that my handwriting is illegible. iāve never really considered it to be that bad, so iām curious.

I hold the pen in a quite weird way, but I like my handwriting. The downside is that my arm and hand get very tired from writing a lot. I wish I could fix thar since it has been bothering me since my college days (I studied History so I had to write long ass exams). I'd be thrilled if you could offer some insight on my handwriting and pen grip!

I'm currently trying to analyze this word as part of my genealogy research. The AI says āPfannenschmidmeisters,ā but unfortunately I can't make out anything at all.

Over the past year Iāve gone through some changes in my handwriting style! I used to write a lot bigger and messier. About half a year ago I got a new job where we hand write a LOT of our paperwork, and then I started my precalc class and realized between the two that my handwriting was⦠not the greatest lol. Iāve made (what feels like) a considerable effort to change the style into something more legible. What do you guys think? I included notes from both older and newer pages Iāve wrote.

Lighting affects how well the app can turn my writing into an image so forgive any ink fading. Tried to fix it with minor trace-overs in editing

Iāve been trying to work on my handwriting for the better part of a year and a half. Iāve always had too much pressure when handwriting, and have got pain in my dominant hand because of it, which wasnāt long lasting until recently.
In the past few months, my pain has got worse due to an RSI (crochet related) and now I canāt write for more than half an hour before Iām in pain again. Iāve been doing psychical therapy, and thatās made it a lot better, but Iād rather not have any pain at all. Are there any particular writing styles that may help? Iām a writer by profession and i like to hand write my ideas so it would be very helpful to know if thereās any particular hand writing style that could help me.
Iām also curious to know if my writing now is legible. My parents find it hard to read so I was curious about that too.

Hello dear People of Reddit, i have something unusual for today's Analysis.
Since a few Years i have, usually once a week, my handwriting training. The goal of the training was so that my two brain hemispheres can communicate better with each other.
I write to pages, one with normal letters and one with cursive writing.
I switch my hand after each line, often in the middle of a sentence. The two page's take me about under an hour, i just write as fast as i can stuff that just flotes around in my head.
What i also developed through this is that i sometimes spontaneously confuse right and left, i think it is because my brain hemispheres are not sure who is the dominant one anymore, in the subconscious.
Also my left hand is full of ink after such a session, how do left handed people even deal with that š„ø

the way i hold my pen kind of affects how i write especially if i write quickly. i tend to skip over some letters because my grip makes it a bit uncomfortable. the way i hold it makes me have a callous on my ring finger.. ive had a teacher scold me for my handwriting before lol
