Coworker says they can't read my cursive?
I feel like mine is pretty readable in general but it's not really neat and organized either.

for context I love writing my letters thin and tall. I also only use purple pen and I'm right-handed .
I always get nagged by teachers that my writing is hard to decipher since they're a tad close in certain spots.
enjoy my world history notes 🌝
edit - I also grip my pen in a weird way that causes me to have a massive callous on my ring finger, anyone else have that issue?

Thank you! I am so curious. In a very different phase of life and curious what my handwriting says about that 😭

I only recently learned cursive and am entirely self-taught with it. I've never been super proficient in handwriting, but my friends say it's hard to read. Thoughts?
Edit: I realise I messed up the cursive phrase. I struggle to remember what I'm writing in cursive, my bad!

Over the past year I’ve gone through some changes in my handwriting style! I used to write a lot bigger and messier. About half a year ago I got a new job where we hand write a LOT of our paperwork, and then I started my precalc class and realized between the two that my handwriting was… not the greatest lol. I’ve made (what feels like) a considerable effort to change the style into something more legible. What do you guys think? I included notes from both older and newer pages I’ve wrote.

I hold the pen in a quite weird way, but I like my handwriting. The downside is that my arm and hand get very tired from writing a lot. I wish I could fix thar since it has been bothering me since my college days (I studied History so I had to write long ass exams). I'd be thrilled if you could offer some insight on my handwriting and pen grip!

Some people like my handwriting others think it’s chicken scratch so I’m curious.

I'm currently trying to analyze this word as part of my genealogy research. The AI says “Pfannenschmidmeisters,” but unfortunately I can't make out anything at all.

I’ve been trying to work on my handwriting for the better part of a year and a half. I’ve always had too much pressure when handwriting, and have got pain in my dominant hand because of it, which wasn’t long lasting until recently.
In the past few months, my pain has got worse due to an RSI (crochet related) and now I can’t write for more than half an hour before I’m in pain again. I’ve been doing psychical therapy, and that’s made it a lot better, but I’d rather not have any pain at all. Are there any particular writing styles that may help? I’m a writer by profession and i like to hand write my ideas so it would be very helpful to know if there’s any particular hand writing style that could help me.
I’m also curious to know if my writing now is legible. My parents find it hard to read so I was curious about that too.

So, remember the Arabic handwriting post I made last night? Apparently, it caused quite a debate.
Some people claimed they knew Arabic and pointed out mistakes in my writing. Others started questioning whether I was even Arab or whether Arabic was actually my first language. And one person said it looked like a terrorist manifesto 💀 The funniest part? The text was literally quoted from a book written for women. LMAO.
Anyway, I thought I’d share these two pictures I took over three years ago, back when I was studying Arabic grammar in my final year of high school.
Just to clarify: I do know Arabic spelling, morphology, grammar, and rhetoric. A messy or unclear piece of handwriting doesn’t mean someone doesn’t know their own language.
And with that, I rest my case.

My mom hates it, my girl thinks it’s complicated, and my buddies think it’s great.

32F, haven’t really had to hand write much since high school and I’m curious if my handwriting still comes off as juvenile.

i’ve been told for years that my handwriting is illegible. i’ve never really considered it to be that bad, so i’m curious.
enjoy my thermochemistry notes!

Hello dear People of Reddit, i have something unusual for today's Analysis.
Since a few Years i have, usually once a week, my handwriting training. The goal of the training was so that my two brain hemispheres can communicate better with each other.
I write to pages, one with normal letters and one with cursive writing.
I switch my hand after each line, often in the middle of a sentence. The two page's take me about under an hour, i just write as fast as i can stuff that just flotes around in my head.
What i also developed through this is that i sometimes spontaneously confuse right and left, i think it is because my brain hemispheres are not sure who is the dominant one anymore, in the subconscious.
Also my left hand is full of ink after such a session, how do left handed people even deal with that 🥸

I probably haven’t written this much at once in at least two years since I was waiting tables lol. My hand actually started to cramp up.
I learned cursive in the 3rd grade (like 17 years ago) but never used it in school.
