G2 | Discussion multiplayer issue

Im trying to play with a friend on pc (im on xbox), this has worked before but now its suddenly not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Btw i have gone into settings and the crossplay option just isnt there like it is on his screen, my world wont change to multiplayer either when i host it.

I had this issue try having them send an invite, or joining off their gamertag that's what I had to do at least

the friend on pc tried joining me when i invited and joining in game, nothing worked idk why

Unfortunately idk then, my issue was the entire join multiplayer screen kept showing nothing and the cross play switch completely disappeared ( Iwas on the series s they were on PC). But if I hosted they could join me(with horrendous lag) or I could join straight from their gamertag/profile
