Hello. As someone who is constantly sick (chronic sickness) I have been registered at 2 different practices over the years but the care has been insufficient. Long long LONG waiting time and doctors being apathetic not really caring if I live or die lol. Maybe because I am international? Who knows. So please if you know a good huisarts where the waiting time of simple appointment isn't month+ please lmk. Thank you!

Hey!

(24, He/Him) Heya! I've recently started studying in Groningen and would love to play some Pathfinder 2e (Remastered) with folks. I've played through the Unlit Star beginner box and have read up on / seen a decent bit of the system outside of that. (Previously played other ttrpgs like DnD 5.5e and some homebrew systems.)
I know Purperen Draak hosts some events but their spots fill up pretty quickly.
Does anyone know of any folks running some PF2e?

Hi all!
I recently bought a basic camera (Canon Eos 60D with 2 lenses and a speedlite). I bought a little book as well, with some tips and tricks, but I have yet to read the first letter apart from the cover.
The pictures I take are nice, but that's it. I'm pretty sure there's more potential, and I'd love to do an in-person course to get the most out of it, instead of just clicking a button on auto-mode.
Maybe someone who's reading this wants to share their passion (obviously paid), or knows someone who might? I'm especially interested in pictures of:
Thanks in advance, and have a great night!
Oh, I'm 37M btw, just in case.

Hello guys!
I am looking for a vegan cake. The one that is already prepared, and ready to get sliced and serve as a meal.
Do you know any places where I can find it?
Thank you in advance!

Hi,
I know this might sound like a bit of a random question, but I’d love to watch some local amateur football matches in Groningen, like games between neighborhood clubs or smaller teams. Does anyone know where I can find their match schedules? Also, can I just show up at the pitch and watch, or do I need to buy a ticket or arrange something in advance?

Myself (36 male) and my Dad (70) will be visiting Groningen for the first time from March 5th - 7th. We are Americans with Dutch ancestry - my Dad's grandparents were born in Groningen.
We will be coming from Amsterdam. I plan to rent a car and drive from Amsterdam to Groningen. We are staying at The Market Hotel. I don't have much planned other than the following:
We want to explore the towns that are family ancestry is from: Loppersum, Saaksum, Oldehove and Niehove. I know these are small towns so there may not be much to see, but it will still be fun and personal for us to experience.
We are also big basketball fans and I saw that Donar Groningen has a game on March 6th. How is the atmosphere? Is it worth going to?
What else would you recommend? Any restaurants, cafes, or food we must try?

Hey everyone!
I’m looking for people in Groningen who might be interested in collaborating on an ambitious game concept I’ve been developing called My Personal Matrix.
The idea is to create a dynamic, persistent simulation game where Ai-powered characters don’t just follow scripted dialogue or predetermined behaviors, but actually learn, remember, communicate, make decisions, and evolve within their own simulated worlds.
Some of the core concepts include:
LLM-Powered NPCs: Characters with unique personalities, memories, relationships, goals, and the ability to develop through experiences. NPCs could communicate naturally, form relationships, learn skills, and make decisions independently.
Personal Ai Personalities & NPC Friends: Imagine your real-life friends existing as intelligent NPCs inside your own simulated world, and you existing in theirs. Each player would have a portable AI personality profile developed from their actual behavior and authorized interactions. The Ai proposes personality changes based on observed patterns, but players must approve or reject these updates before they become part of their shared profile. With mutual consent, approved personality data could synchronize across friends’ worlds. Each NPC would still retain its own unique memories, relationships, and experiences within its particular world. Players could also visit friend’s worlds in spectator mode to interact with and help train their Ai Twins.
Ai Agent Team Leaders: Autonomous Ai agents that coordinate groups of NPCs, delegate tasks, conduct research, introduce new knowledge, and guide collective activities. Imagine an Ai research leader coordinating a group of scientists, engineers, or explorers within a simulated civilization.
Real-World Simulations: Environments inspired by actual physics, biology, chemistry, economics, sociology, ecosystems, civilizations, and scientific discoveries. The idea is to simulate realistic processes and interactions, allowing players and NPCs to experiment, build, discover, and develop technologies.
Research & Experimentation: The possibility of conducting virtual experiments, testing hypotheses, observing emergent behavior, and exploring alternative scenarios. The simulation could eventually serve not only as entertainment but also as an experimental research environment.
Dynamic & Persistent Worlds: Simulated environments that continuously evolve over time. Plants grow, ecosystems change, civilizations develop, buildings deteriorate, technologies advance, and NPCs remember previous events. Player decisions have lasting consequences.
Fantasy & Experimental Worlds: Besides the default reality-inspired simulation, players could create entirely different worlds with their own environments, civilizations, physical laws, gravity, magic systems, and other experimental variables. These worlds would remain persistent and evolve dynamically rather than simply being generated once.
Civilizational & Technological Progression: Imagine starting in a primitive environment, learning how to survive, discovering materials, developing tools, establishing settlements, and eventually progressing toward advanced engineering, robotics, space exploration, and potentially interplanetary civilizations.
The long-term vision is something between a game, an artificial society, a simulation engine, a social network, and an experimental research platform.
Players could explore their own evolving worlds, interact with Ai representations of their friends, develop civilizations, carry out experiments, and observe how intelligent agents and simulated environments respond to their actions.
Of course, this would be a massive undertaking, so I’d like to start small: perhaps a prototype featuring a simulated environment, a handful of autonomous NPCs with persistent memories, a basic personal Ai personality system, and an Ai agent coordinating their activities.
Who am I looking for?
Anyone genuinely interested in exploring this idea, especially people with experience or interest in:
Game development (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, etc.)
Ai, LLMs, autonomous agents, and machine learning
Programming and software engineering
3D modeling, animation, and worldbuilding
Physics, biology, sociology, economics, and simulation research
Ai memory systems, computational psychology, and human–Ai interaction
Game design, creative thinking, and experimental technologies
You don’t necessarily need professional experience. Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to experiment are equally welcome.
Where does the project stand?
It’s currently in the conceptual and early planning stage. I’m looking to connect with people who might enjoy developing the idea together, exchanging knowledge, exploring technical possibilities, and potentially building an initial prototype.
I’m based in Groningen and would love to meet locally, brainstorm, and see whether we can form a small interdisciplinary team.
This is currently an invitation to explore a collaborative project, not a paid job offer.
If this sounds interesting, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM!
I’d also love to hear your thoughts on the concept, even if you’re not interested in participating.
