I just went to the range a few days ago to try and rent a few different compacts and sub compacts. I ended up with a Glock 43x MOS. I compared it to a Springfield Hellcat Pro OSP. I also shot a P365, a regular Hellcat, a Canik Prime MC9, and a SW bodyguard something? The 43x just gets it done. Too many other sub compacts have just enough published issues to keep me away (Canik MC9, FN Reflex, HK CC9, etc). I’m a Springfield guy through and through (my current EDC has been a super reliable Springfield XD-9 Sub-Compact Mod.2, but the Glock just surprised me and it was time to upgrade to something a little thinner, lighter and optics ready.
Same range, same 15’ distance. Same ammo. The 43x put up a 10 shot 2” group while the Hellcat Pro mustered a best 6.5” group for 10 shots.
Picked up the 43x today. Picking up a Holosun 507k 2/32 MRS green dot optic on Saturday. Wanted a EPS MRS, but I’m getting a super good deal on the 507…so for now, it’ll do.
