LE GEM 💎 Is Starfield Todd Howard's 2001: A Space Odyssey?

Post image

Todd Howard has shown to be a masterful storyteller and world builder; the original gaming auteur. Most will agree that he is on par or surpassing Kubrick simply due to the fact that Howard works in a superior storytelling art form.

So is Starfield the same as 2001? A masterpiece that will stand the test of time? An single minded vision of what mankind's existence in in this universe means, and how our conscious understanding effects our being? I think so.

I simply need compare one major point of feedback as an example of many parallels:

*Loads of Problems\*

Critics state that Starfield is riddled with loading screens, interrupting something they term the "immersive experience."

But if you compare it to 2001, you will find that 2001 literally is the only movie I've seen WITH LOADING SCREENS; it takes five minutes of weird loading noises before they can even show the MGM logo. It even has a SECOND loading screen in the middle of a very important plot point involving GAL, Dave, and the other unimportant guy (mysteriously titled "intermission"?). For all the money Kubrick spent on CGI, he could have optimized the film more strongly?

That is one of many reasons I have scribbled on various scrap papers and during a manic episode

Please respond in support of my mental health I have to go to bed now I love you
