My friend sent me these photos that he clicked from his new Samsung S25.

The photos are grainy as f*ck with no details at all.

I was considering buying S25 specially for the combination of camera & performance but after looking at these shots I have to reconsider my decision.

Can you guys (with s25) confirm the camera quality?

Is it really this bad (my friend clicked these photos in good lighting) ??

My preference - good software experience, good camera (absolutely want a telephoto now in my phone 😋, will most likely install a GCam )

Not much of a preference - heavy gaming

Also, for how long the amazon sale is going to last? Any chances the prices will drop during the sale?

Finally got my hands on the iPhone 17 Pro!

Bought the Dubai variant, brand new, for ₹1.21 lakh.

But honestly, the price isn't even the biggest thing for me.This is the first phone I've ever bought with my own hard-earned money. No feeling compares to buying something you've wanted with money you've earned yourself.

It's not just a phone for me, it's a little reminder of how far I've come and motivation to keep working harder.

Help me find a good camera phone under ₹25k. Don't suggest phones above ₹30k.

I expect natural-looking photos, not oversaturated ones. Won't do gaming or anything like that. Good network, no lag or glitches, and most importantly, a good camera are what I'm looking for

Discussions🗣️ Motorola signature or iphone 17

My budget was initially 40k, but after exploring the market, I realised I wasn't getting what I wanted. Camera is my priority, so shortlisted the Moto Signature at 60k since X200T is out of stock.

Now I'm wondering if I should just spend 87k on the iPhone 17 instead of 60k on the Moto.

The catch is I'm a pretty rough user. My Pixel 7 broke down completely in 2 years because I drop my phone a lot.

Is the iPhone worth the extra 27k, especially considering my usage? Or should I stick to the Moto Signature?

It was supposed to be selling for 60k in Amazon at great Indian festival sale but sadly it went out of stock immediately at the start and now amazon listed it again and hiked the price, so now I am having second thoughts on whether I should buy this or not

Discussions🗣️ 7 yr old phone, display damage autohealed

I have a 7 yr old Honor 9x phone(brought at 15k,2020),it proves to be quite good in endurance and battery life . It works identical with even the more expensive hardware phone (25K,2023) with which I replaced as successor (as it got stuck on Android 9).

Week back,I accidentally dropped it facefront to ground, and screen cracked with multiple dots of damaged pixel on screen.I was slightly happy, that now it can be dead and replaced (picture 1) . Now ,the screen damage got auto reduced (Pic 2) . It's like tarzan the wonder car.

It defies logic ,popup camera still working, back glass unscratched ,and had 256GB UFS 2.1 storage that time .

I wanted to go 20-25k max but the prices are not fair at all... So can you guys suggest me some good smartphones or what should be my minimum budget in which I can expect to get a decent deal... I don't want a very high performance or camera phone, just a good device that will last me for a minimum of 3-4 years.

Got it for 9999.

The soft touch silicone feels amazing, the speaker has great weight distribution, feels good in hand.

The sound quality is excellent, deep lows, great balance between lows, mids and highs. Sound separation is great for a mono speaker.

The colour looks very subtle and premium 🤩

Purchase Help🤚🏻 Don't be dependent on Amazon, Flipkart only. Recently I got an AC, same model, 4k cheaper on Croma. Similarly got a mobile a year back for 9k cheaper in Vijay sales

I've been a heavy online shopper since India plaza and eBay days.

But more and more I'm buying offline - not always, just yesterday ordered 8k₹ electronics on Flipkart.

Most people including myself don't even consider offline options even though I've seen that they can be 1000s of ₹ cheaper.

Android Talk about a close call.My S24 Ultra's charging port died with 1 day of warranty left, ended up getting a full ₹72,000 refund!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share an absolutely wild update to my situation that turned out to be a massive blessing in disguise.

I bought my Galaxy S24 Ultra (Indian variant) last year during the Flipkart Big Billion Days (BBD) sale. It was a great phone, but a few days ago, the charging port started malfunctioning completely out of nowhere. It wouldn't fast charge and eventually stopped recognizing cables altogether. I checked my invoice and realized my standard 1-year warranty was expiring literally tomorrow.

I rushed to the Samsung Authorized Service Centre, sweating bullets. They verified the activation date and confirmed it was indeed the very last day of my warranty.

They accepted the device without any hassle, but here is where it gets crazy:

• The Plot Twist: After diagnosing it, they informed me that they did not have the replacement parts available to fix the port.

• The Drama: Because they couldn't repair it under warranty, they decided to issue a full refund of the invoice amount (₹72,000). However, they initially tried to push me to accept the refund in the form of Samsung Store Coupons.

• The Resolution: I firmly resisted the coupons and insisted on a direct payout. After some back-and-forth, they ultimately agreed and are now issuing me a refund via check for the full ₹72,000!

Since I suddenly found myself without a primary phone, I decided to pull the trigger on a massive upgrade. I just moved on and bought the S26 Ultra International Version from Dubai for ₹87,500

Discussions🗣️ Samsung S25 + Galaxy Buds + Galaxy Book5 - Can't get seamless audio switching to work

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy Buds, and a Samsung Galaxy Book5. Since all three are part of the Samsung ecosystem, I expected the Buds to switch seamlessly between my phone and laptop, but I just can't get it working.

I've tried everything I could think of, including installing the Galaxy Buds app on my Galaxy Book5, but nothing seems to work.

What I want is simple: when I'm listening to something on my phone and start using my laptop, I'd like my Buds to switch over automatically, and then switch back to my phone when I need them there.

I've checked the settings and tried different things, but I'm still unable to get this feature working.

Am I missing a setting, or is seamless Buds switching between a Galaxy phone and a Galaxy Book5 not actually supported?

If anyone has the same setup working, I'd really appreciate it if you could share the steps you followed. Also, does it depend on which Galaxy Buds model you have?

Thanks in advance!

Discussions🗣️ Flipkart & Samsung scammed my mom. Admitted "known defect" on call but denied replacement!

Thumbnail

Hey Reddit, I am caught in a nightmare loop with Flipkart and Samsung India and need your visibility/advice.
I ordered a brand-new Samsung Galaxy S25 5G from Flipkart (Order ID: OD438849030422052100) as a special gift for my mother. Right out of the box, the phone has a distinct sub-surface display line/panel fracture located directly under the outer glass near the front camera punch-hole. It acts like a tiny internal prism, flashing a bright white line only when light reflects off it at a specific angle. Under regular flat indoor lighting, it is completely invisible, making it impossible to catch during a hasty 30-second Open Box Delivery visual inspection.
When I took it to the Samsung Authorized Service Centre (Sector-3, Noida, Job Sheet: 4443915435), the staff argued aggressively and refused to run a proper internal hardware panel diagnostic, lazily scrawling "scratches on display" on the job card just to avoid factory warranty liability. Flipkart's Senior Desk immediately weaponized this flawed brand description to reject my return request under their Open Box policy.
The absolute shocker: The Noida service center officially called my phone from +91 7428688896 for a 7-minute conversation. The representative explicitly admitted over the call that this screen line is an officially recognized "known factory defect" from the assembly line! Yet, they flatly refused to give it to me in writing, told me to "use it as it is," and instead tried to upsell me a discounted accidental insurance protection plan to cover up their own manufacturing flaw!
UPDATE: Flipkart just tried to administratively close my government consumer helpline ticket (NCH Docket Number: 10413190) by demanding a physically stamped brand denial letter, fully knowing that their own partner service center called me to admit it's a known factory defect but refused to provide it in writing!
Flipkart is refusing to help based on a rigged service note, and Samsung is actively trying to monetize their own manufacturing failure by selling me insurance workarounds. This is a complete violation of the Consumer Protection Act. I am refusing to back down and have disputed the closure with the NCH.
Has anyone else dealt with service centers admitting to a "known defect" on a premium phone and trying to dodge it like this? Any advice on forcing a corporate override? Avoid buying premium items here.

Software: 10/10 , if you have used moto/pixel/nothing is you will feel just at home, minimal, no nonsense.

Display:8/10 , LTO panel (15-120 HZ), Great colors thanks to bravia tech. Resolution is low at 1080p, older models used to give 4k.

Speaker: 8/10Pretty clear, not very loud but clear with 3 different options, 360/DSEE ultimate/ Dolby atmos. I personally use 360 while I use my earphone dolby when speakers. 3.5 mm jack for music nerds available.

Battery: 9/10great battery life, 30watt wired charging is enough for me . No complaints here. Wireless charging of 15 watt.

Camera : Can't rate , it's weird , it definitely doesn't work like a normal camera phone and definitely not a point and shoot one. You gonna miss a lot of shots initially untill you learn it. Auto mode is good but not the best, night mode is auto meaning no way to enable it. So sometimes I have missed night shots due to night mode not kicking in. Examples are attached above.

Video: 8/10 .This is the best part, i really love recording videos and is much more for given.Had the same learning curve though.

Expandable SD card upto 1.5 TB , Dual sim support available. If anyone wanna buy do a research , jio 4g/ airtel ,vi 5g. Get singapore/ HK varient.

Most complete phone, but not for everyone.
