A friend gave us a box of Christmas ornaments. This medicine book had this paper inside that found and those printed information packets.

Thought I took a pic of it up closer on the trail as well but I guess not. Page 179/180 from The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. No other pages around. Found as in the image. Has been there a while without being moved as part is fully detached but was still right there. Bonus pic of creek.

I know schizophrenic screeds and manifestos are pretty common here, but I was kinda excited to find some ramblings in the wild, right there in the top of the trash can for anybody to take. Might be more accurate than some other conspiracy stuff.

I found this letter at Borderland State Park in Massachusetts probably 6 or more years ago. It was inside a dog poop bag to keep it dry and either wrapped around a twig or attached to a tree along one of the main trails. I can't remember exactly, but it definitely seemed like someone left it there intentionally.

The letter is addressed and written directly to "Shane" but the writer acknowledged that the letter may end up being read by someone who finds it. She says she hopes it inspires someone to reach out to a loved one.

I've held onto it all these years and figured I'd share it here. Would be pretty cool if it somehow made its way to the person it was written for. I've transcribed it somewhat accurately and omitted the writer's name at the end.

My kids have Scout meetings in the basement of a church that also hosts AA meetings. This was sitting on a counter near some coffee grounds and sugar. Enjoy the delightfully retro and original counter top in the background.
