No way that meat to sauce ratio is even close.

I wanted to show my husband the sauce to noodle ratio though. I love that he cooks, but wish there were more sauce with his pastas.

I make the equivalent of about three jars of sauce and half a pound of ground beef when I make lasagna sauce…maybe more because I’d rather have left over sauce to dip my broken noodles in that are left over TBH! So the more sauce and cheese the better for me.

Saw this in Kroger yesterday. I love that they have “hotdog buns” followed by “hotdogs?”

I, for one, do not mind being trapped in the endless fudge cycle

u/molehunterz 1d ago
My dumbass over here reading it like, fudge... cycle? And then trying to rack my brain to figure out if this is some new weird product with strange marketing... Before figuring it out

1 thing of noodles with 3 things of sauce and 2 pounds of beef sounds like my kind of spaghetti 🤌

u/tres-vip 1d ago
Thin spaghetti reminds me of the time I was 8 years old and threw up angel pasta in the parking lot after we finished having a family dinner at the Olive Garden. Since then, I have ALWAYS avoided thin/angel hair spaghetti, and make sure I get regular or bigger (ie bucatini) lol

u/SpicyLizards 1d ago
I have a friend who will also not eat spaghetti because she threw it up as a kid!
My cousin won’t eat ramen for the same reason.

u/tres-vip 1d ago
Yeah, a bad food experience/memory will create a lifelong aversion. I myself am nearly 50 years old and so I have been refusing/avoiding thin spaghetti and angel hair for over 4 decades now, even during the years I lived in Italy, lol

Mine was Tequila. Drank it at a few parties in a row in college, and also puked it up after a few parties in a row. That quickly convinced my body that it's poison aha. Even the smell of it makes me gag decades later.

I went to a family event for my childhood karate school, ate angel hair pasta at the potluck and also threw it up in the parking lot lol. Is this one of our canon Sims childhood events or something?

As a teenager, I threw up fajitas while in the car fighting with my (then) boyfriend.
He stopped yelling at me, and drove to the car wash silently. He then cleaned up my mess and we got back in the car. He broke the silence saying, "you should chew your food better."
Apparently there were like entire bell pepper slices.

u/stefanica 1d ago
I avoid it myself. Not only did I get very sick at age 5 or 6 after eating it, but my mom was at work and stepdad was a jerk. He made me clean most of it up myself. I just remember crying and scrubbing away at used noodle scraps in the shag carpeting. 😩

u/Positive_Neat2689 1d ago

Fudge cycle? Like a motorcycle made out of fudge? I didn't know Kroger sold that.

I feel like spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight.
I bet the last one is a misspelling of fudgecicles.

u/LookAtTheWhiteVan 1d ago edited 1d ago
I bet your last word is just a misspelling of fudgesicles
I honestly am not sure if the first e should be there either haha

It’s actually Fudgsicle which I feel like is the most upsetting option

Do people name the Krogers where you live? I no longer live in a state with them, but we had space Kroger and sideways Kroger in my town. And even people outside of the south know about murder Kroger.

u/soggyballsack 1d ago
Kroger are so sparse that they can just be named Kroger. Its the Walmart that get the names and sometimes target stores.
2
u/BucketOfBoogers 1d ago
Usually if I'm talking to someone in person,I'll say the street name or side of town it's on before the word Kroger so people know which one I'm referring to

Didn’t know fudge could get pregnant.

The fudge cycle is those few days when she's menstruating so you use the back entrance

What is the point throw it in the trash. You found a grocery list at a grocery store end of story
-2
u/Dew-fan-forever- 1d ago
At least the note is not worrisome however I find it odd to be writing on paper a grocery list in 2026 when you have your notes app on your phone for stuff like that
2
u/Nortex_Vortex 1d ago
I have lists in my notes app but I need a paper list for grocery shopping as well. I can't explain it, i just do.
