I was locked in on grinding for a while but the content / updates have just been so lackluster that im just running out of the energy to keep getting on for 1 car a week and no new things for progression i.e stories and jobs. anyone else?

Played FH4-5 and 6. Always heard, FH3 is the best Horizon game ever made. Gave it a try last night, expecting the game to feel 'old'. My god!! I was wrong, FH3 really is a masterpiece. Playing on an ultrawide oled with hdr, game looks fantastic. How can this 'old' game feel better than the newer Horizons? Cars feel like they have weight, Handling is pretty good. Smoke looks like smoke should do, not the pixelated mess on the newer Horizons. Love the water drops on the screen while racing in the rain. Car exhaust sound meaner.. So glad to have tried FH3.. Characters look like humans. Wonder why the newer Horizons have been 'watered down'..

Everyone has said and pointed out countless times how useless the car meet feature is and they are dead 99% of the time. However, I think that shows exactly why the 7/11 should stay. There has never been another meet that had such consistent cars. There is always a few or more here, I personally have never been to a car meet that was mostly or totally full (only missing 2 spots here) just filled by random people.

This place was put in such a random location, but it proves that the environment makes it. None of the other car meet locations have a similar vibe/backdrop. This is the first one that truly feels like we all just pulled up and are hanging out on a Friday night.

Daikoku almost gets it, but it just doesn't quite hit the same clearly. Hokubu almost had it, but that one left too.

If you want the feature to be used this should not leave, it is far and away the most successful Car Meet location to date. Not to mention the photos we've seen come out of this update. I do know the props aren't leaving so that portion can continue.

This is just another prime example and cry that evolving world features should not be removed until something directly replaces them. The fact the edamame circuit is still available in rivals but was removed from free roam and the stadium is back to empty useless space is another prime example. People want more things to do, not less, I don't understand how this is such a difficult concept.

P.S. Voice chat needs to come back, at least in car meets, but ideally in races and general lobbies too. It was here in FH1 and I met some of my best friends there. The automotive hobby at its core is a social hobby and is about connecting with other people who share your beliefs. I would put my life savings into a bet that with voice chat at car meets they would be full more often than not.

i haven’t messed with tuning too much besides aero and ride height AFTER this recording and it got a tiny bit better. is the awd function just wack or what can i do better to be able to turn worth a damn. i had rally tires on in this so i switched to slick and it got even worse. help please :(

I know it's not a big achievement but I don't exactly race meta cars (I don't think the Monza is meta since I haven't heard anything about it) and I'm not the best driver so I'm pretty happy with this

Purist build that keeps the Stock Engine, Natural Aspiration, Drivetrain (RWD) and Tires.

Utilizes the Dodge Race Front Bumper and Rear Wing for additional downforce and increased handling

Worked well within the Trial as it has surprisingly good launch for RWD (with proper throttle control) with enough acceleration to get you out ahead and great handling and top speed to keep you there. Also works well as a battering ram and blocker if that is more your style.

Easily runs 0:49s (5,500th) on the Soni Circuit with proper downshifting and throttle control
