So the new hero from today's new update is the skin I bought from the shop ONLY a few days ago? 😡☠️

I have been using this loadout for a while for any soloing minibosses, but my goto weapons are the black drum with double crit rating & double reload, and a bright core love song bow. The love song bow, when drawn past max, will stun ANY miniboss for 10 seconds. Using this as bright core allows you to draw back faster. This was a really bad run in a 160, as I almost die lol but a good run allows you to easily solo any miniboss.

With news of new content coming tonight (genuinely insane stuff), I thought I’d throw a prediction out there that probably ends up being wrong but to me, makes utter sense.

I’m sure majority of you are aware of how Fortnite has been present at Universal’s Hollywood Horror Nights this year and have noticed a familiar face… that being Husks walking around.

My prediction is we are getting a questline based around a friendly Husk of some sort. It just makes a lot of sense personally but hey, knowing Epic, it’ll be something much less “exciting”. Keen regardless for content!

the description of the perk made it sound like you have to be using lefty and righty for the phantasms to spawn

but the perk actually works even without using it

likely not a bug, since even if you use a hero without l&r, graven does not show the not compatible badge

edit: not just weapons, jilly teacup's 100% crit chance teddy works with this perk too

I was reading the patch notes for v42.40, and one of the changes that was listed was the following:

• Fixed an issue where the Outlander's Anti-Material Charge could destroy cars beyond its reach.

There was no mention of anything related to the Xenon in this patch, even though the Xenon can no longer destroy quest items anymore. So whilst you could chalk this down to a shadow nerf, I think the reason why the Xenon no longer works alongside Anti-Material Charge is because they both operate more similarly on a foundational, coding level.

My best guess is that both the Xenons' arrows and Anti-Material Charge are coded to act as projectiles, and they have different projectile hitboxes:

A projectile hitbox that specifically affects enemies. This relates to the actual hitbox of the Xenon's arrows that hit enemies, and in the case of Anti-Material Charge, the forcefield of damage that surrounds the front of the player when they strike forward with it.

As well as...

A projectile quest hitbox, which specifically affects quest items, which is why AMC, Xenon arrows, and Ghost Pistol shots where capable of destroying quest items halfway across the map without directly hitting them.

I think that by trying to fix the bug where an AMC could destroy cars multiple tiles away, they decided to universally decrease the projectile quest hitbox of all the projectiles in the game. And in doing so, they inadvertently ended up nerfing the Xenon Bow's ability to clear "Destroy X Ys" quests so easily.

But that's just the conclusion I came to.

The second quest doesn't seem to be working. I've tried to kill mini bosses in ventures, normal missions, dungeons and from the rifts but nothing is counting towards it. What am I missing here??

I got everything from the birthday llamas except the Zap-o-Max 😞. This is the most depressing thing ever.

Is the birthday llama truly the only way?

Got Launched in the air Via a Xenon bow and found a invisable collision box above the rift. Now I am stuck here :3

They should consider adding a collection book slot for epic variants, assuming that these heroes and schematics now being obtainable from Birthday llamas is intentional, because sometimes I can't tell with this game

Wow this has been in the game for multiple years...hopefully they fixed lots of other annoying bugs.

I wanted to see a storyline, after backing from BR or something cool in new questline, they even write about this in twitter status and they give us only encounter with mini-boss

I saw a post earlier and wanted to check out if it was true so I sacrificed a Birthday Llama to verify its veracity and was excited seeing it was real! I opened 12 Birthday Llamas, I didn't take 1 picture because I got too excited but its content was a legendary Scrapper Spear and a legendary Powerhouse.

High shadows (first picture) and medium shadows (2nd picture). With shadows on the high or epic setting, the fog around the map in hexyslvania or canny map becomes very thick, but just changing shadows to medium makes the fog almost go away completely

Which, by the way, was never just "Mythic Storm King Fights" it's actually in all game modes. I just LOVE seeing my LEVEL 144 King's Wrath launcher not one-shot a LEVEL 50 enemy! (Wish I recorded that.)

Another note, though I know I can't prove this part: I've noticed that they don't actually post "known bug issues" in the update notes for STW on release. The last few times, it would be entirely blank (like it is right now, last image as proof) until later down the line.
This post originally was about that, but when I went back to the notes, ready to take pictures of blank "Known STW bugs" only to be surprised that they added them in later.

A couple days ago I noticed the Chaos exploder's bullets, not the explosion, can hit multiple enemies as long as you don't directly hit them. From my experience the bullet only stops once the projectile directly hits something and explodes. Not sure if this has been pointed out previously but figured it was worth mentioning
