Hey everyone,

I'm the director of Fiona's music video for Pretrial (Let Her Go Home). I've lurked around this subreddit for a while, and figured this was a good reason to actually post something.

The video was made as part of a larger campaign with Zealous called Let Her Go Home, which advocates for ending pretrial detention which is the practice of keeping people in jail before they've been convicted of anything, often simply because they can't afford bail.

The campaign goes beyond the music video, connecting people with court-watching organizations, bail funds, and groups like Free Black Mamas DMV that are doing the actual work on the ground.

Anyway, the campaign has been nominated for an Anthem Award in the Human & Civil Rights category, and there's a public vote happening right now.

I know Reddit isn't exactly the place people come to be asked to vote for things, but I'm really proud to have been part of this project, and I'd love to see the campaign get some more attention. I also know how much this community cares about Fiona and the things she chooses to put her energy behind.

If you have a minute, you can vote on the Anthem Awards website! Just find Let Her Go Home under the Human & Civil Rights (non-profit) category and hit the Celebrate button.

Thanks, and happy to answer any questions about making the video if anyone's curious. It was a pretty special project to be involved in.
