I met Clive Rosfield

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576]

I met the English VA for FFXVI Ben Starr. This was at New York Comic Con this past weekend.

[u/Kelub-the-Dragoon]

I love Ben Starr, he's such a talented VA. Verso and Clive are some of my all time faves because of him.

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/Kelub-the-Dragoon]

He’s such a nice person

[u/Headglitch7 → u/Kelub-the-Dragoon]

Let's not forget Dycedarg

[u/palettewhore → u/Kelub-the-Dragoon]

Just now learning he voiced Verso too. Expedition 33 had such a good voice cast all around

[u/Frurry → u/palettewhore]

he also voiced khazan in first bezerker

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/palettewhore]

Two people where there from that game too

[u/palettewhore → u/Prudent_Outcome_8576]

Very cool! I loved the VAs in that game, especially Maelle’s

[u/CivilizedPsycho]

The man is a treasure.

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/CivilizedPsycho]

Truly

[u/keithlimreddit]

You know I definitely say ben starr is a rather successful name in the industry nowadays

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/keithlimreddit]

True. He’s such a star

[u/detroiter85 → u/Prudent_Outcome_8576]

Would you say he's...been a starr?

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/detroiter85]

Since birth

[u/Senator_Gates → u/Prudent_Outcome_8576]

Such a Starr

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/Senator_Gates]

A bright one

[u/Mobile_Sky_5709]

Congrats! His work on ff16 is phenomenal! Mygod.

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/Mobile_Sky_5709]

Thanks

[u/Lun4r6543]

Ben Starr is so awesome ngl. He single handedly made Clive one of my favourite protagonists in the series.

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/Lun4r6543]

He did

[u/acetrainer-icarus]

I have yet to experience his acting in XVI yet, but i have heard great things. Whts that logos book at the end there?

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/acetrainer-icarus]

Like a diary by square Enix

[u/zacaholic → u/acetrainer-icarus]

It's like encyclopedia Eorzea if you play 14.

[u/ereh_yeygerr]

He is a lovely guy to meet. Absurdly nice and genuinely pleased to meet fans.

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/ereh_yeygerr]

All are true statements

[u/Zerepa97]

He really deserves a TGA Best Performance at some point.

Happy he's getting work and he has more fans from playing Verso, but man, his acting for Clive in XVI was just top notch. Haven't played BG3 to compare Neil's, but I honestly thought he was going to get it.

[u/HeadBodyMaster]

Ben Starr is so based

[u/Some_Decision_9464]

That's awesome! I enjoy his work so much. If you're into DND at all, he's in an actual play series called Natural Six with a few other voice actors & industry folks.

[u/hijole_frijoles]

I hope you had a nice platonic encounter with my boyfriend

(that definitely knows he is my boyfriend)

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/hijole_frijoles]

Yes. 😂😂would have loved to hug him on my selfie

[u/SemillaEstelarMX]

😍 everyone loves Starr

[u/lucasmedina]

Ben is a treasure

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/lucasmedina]

A lovely one

[u/WritingNerdy]

I would die 🥵

[u/Fyerfly24]

Ben Starr will do anything for money

[u/Fyerfly24 → u/Fyerfly24]

I know i should have put quotations marks around it but damn I guess no one understood the reference lol

[u/kiltminotaur → u/Fyerfly24]

I see you, kiddo

[u/Watton → u/Fyerfly24]

Shame everyone else missed the reference

[u/troysama]

EN Clive has one of my favorite performances of all time

[u/mobkon22]

Thought he was wearing a bathrobe for a second.

[u/schweddyballsac → u/mobkon22]

Wouldn’t be out of character for him

[u/Lionheart1224]

Damn, dude. That's a nice haul. Congrats! I hope he was personable in person.

[u/Prudent_Outcome_8576 → u/Lionheart1224]

The nicest person to meet

[u/zennok → u/Prudent_Outcome_8576]

All I needed to see was how ecstatic he was that Jennifer English won the va award last year (beating him mind you) to know his character

[u/ereh_yeygerr → u/Lionheart1224]

Extremely

[u/Necessary-Recipe4310]

How does he smell?
