right now im outside of the PowerPlant Mall Theater. i intentionally went here because usually their ticket prices are really expensive and ive never been here, i thought this is a good reason to finally come here.

when i arrived here, and i asked about this post that the studio did, and they had no clue. so i went and double checked and their Cinema IS apart of the participating cinemas. its really frustrating because even after showing this apparently its not enough and they even started to act rude when i suggested for them to contact their supervisor, thinking maybe they just forgot to let them know about it.

has anyone encountered this before? im thinking what should i do, im looking for super entertainment regarding this issue, idk maybe powerplant mall pulled out last minute on participating in this promo.

this is pretty disappointing, i rarely get exited on watching local made movies and having to experience this mishaps really sucks.

JUST IN: Polish entry to #Oscars2026 #Fatherland, Cannes winner of Best Director for Paweł Pawlikowski, will be screened at QCinema International Film Festival, set on Nov 13-22.

Starring Sandra Hüller and Hanns Zischler, the historical drama ‘Fatherland’ follows Nobel Prize-winning author Thomas Mann and his daughter Erika in the summer of 1949.

The announcement was made by Goethe-Institut at the opening ceremony of KinoFest: The German Film Festival.

I went to opening night of Kinofest (German film festival) earlier at Greenhills Mall cinemas as I had been eager to catch this one.

It did not disappoint - hell of a performance by Sandra Hüller even with the scarred face makeup she effectively conveys the spectrum of emotions. Excellent all around for the shots and framing, B&W really works for the 17th century setting also in using lighting/shadows.

Incidentally it was also my first time at the Greenhills Mall cinemas it's quite nice with comfortable semi-recliner seats. This is way better than the other Ortigas group run cinema that's terrible at Estancia which I'll never go back to even though it's walking distance from me.

There were some rude assholes answering calls and the worst someone in the lower rows incessantly taking pictures of every scene. It was like for his own goddamn slideshow? Kudos to the dude who got pissed off by it in a row nearer who got up from his seat, walked down to the front and called him out to stop it.

James Gunn has expressed interest in bringing ‘BATMAN BEYOND’ to the big screen in the future.

“I love Batman Beyond. So that's a great thing for the future. And I think that's something that originated in animation that could be a good movie.”

Do you think his remarks about a future Beyond movie will save the cancelled Batman Beyond project?

As director Matt Reeves continues to attend to an ongoing family matter, Steven Soderbergh is coming on to help finish principal photography for the final weeks of DC Studios’ The Batman Part II. The news comes after production was paused on the film so that Reeves could focus on the personal matter.

Soderbergh has been longtime admirer of Reeves work, and with Reeves unable to be on set, the Oscar-winning director offered to help with finishing principal photography. The two will work together and remain in communication until filming has ended, with Reeves taking over post-production duties when he is ready to return.

“As Matt Reeves continues to attend to an ongoing family matter, Steven Soderbergh, as an admirer of Matt’s work, approached Matt and will step in, with the full support of DC Studios, to help the writer-director complete the final weeks of principal photography on The Batman Part 2. Matt and Steven will work closely together with the actors and crew to fulfill Matt’s vision of the film.”

Soderbergh also released a statement:

“I thought Matt Reeves’ work on The Batman was stunning; it was intentional, specific, and rigorously coherent. The goal here is to work with Matt and his team to generate footage that will integrate seamlessly with what’s already been shot so Matt can properly finish his film.”

Looks like SM Cinema is already opening pre-booking for Avengers: Doomsday.

Sharing this for anyone waiting for local cinema updates. Interesting that it's showing up this early, considering the movie is still months away.
