For context, I'm shopping for a 458, but prices where I live have gone crazy, especially for the Spider. Importing one from China or Japan seems to come with a real discount, and shops there can get the car fully sorted for relatively little before shipping: worn parts replaced, preventive maintenance done, and so on.

What I'm not sure about is whether that discount follows the car when I go to sell it. I haven't seen much discussion on this, so I'm curious: would you hesitate to buy a Ferrari that spent its earlier life on the other side of the world?

I did it. I know the Reddit community recommended I keep it white but I forgot to mention I’m 34 haha. I think this car looks more my age now. Roast me if you want!
