In my dream world I could replay a top-down map showing everyone's movement and detailed stat breakdown over multiple encounters, but can we just get this in the meanwhile?

In Contract wars there was a hardcore gamemode where u cant play with your character’s skills that you unlock, everyone has the same hp and u dont have any hud showing ur health or anything else, also i think the guns had more damage

I had an idea what if they add something like that to tarkov, no hud , no skills everyone is equal and no Stims?

I recently was inspired by the PMC AI in Tarkov how they constantly react to the player, actions, or environment, for example like the PMC AI yelling at the player when spotting or calling out that they've been hit

Here is my rough idea for a possible personal negative modifier:

"Chatter Box"

Effect: Randomly within an interval of 60, or 150 seconds your PMC will randomly use the mumble command.

I couldn't think of how many points it would give but possibly +2 or +3 would be fair for randomly talking outloud. Can be especially awful if you are holding angles, camping, or getting ready to ambush somebody

Wearing class 5 armor, got hit 3 times by 7N40 died.

Shooting PPBS, 13 hits 308dmg to body, 184 dmg to armor.

Obligatory: Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.

If like me you have a dogshit CPU and updated your GPU to get more out of Tarkov read this.

First of all you will need at least 32gb of RAM to play Streets or Tarkov with high textures, DDR 4 2 x 16gb sticks (recent got second hand) is what I use - my motherboard and CPU are 7 years old. I have a 2700x CPU and ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard. I have a QVO SSD.

These settings are for 1.0. - Your results may vary but the performance difference is amazing.

My GPU is RADEON 9060 XT 16gb

Settings:

PUT YOUR TEXTURES ON HIGH (THIS USES YOUR GPU NOT CPU)

USE STREETS LOW TEXTURE MODE AND TEST IT.

PUT SHADOW QUALITY ON HIGH (OFF LOADS FROM CPU to GPU)

ENABLE "USE PHYSICAL CORES ONLY"

PLAY IN BORDERLESS MODE (TEST FULLSCREEN, THIS WORKS BEST FOR ME)

AA = TTA

AMD FSR 2.2 / 3.0 OFF (Does nothing but make the game look like shit)

EVERYTHING ELSE LOW or OFF

LOD = 2

OVERAL VISABILITY = 1000

DISABLE GAME FPS LIMIT = ON

POST FX = OFF - USE AMD CONTRAST BOOST or NVIDIA COLOUR SETTINGS

AREA LIGHT ASSISTANCE: ON - THIS WAS THE SETTING THE CHANGED EVERYTHING

This increased my FPS at 2560 x 1440 from sub 40 to 70-90fps on streets. All other maps are 100+ FPS. No stutters, no lag, no feeling like you are playing under water. I can finally use scopes.

If this helps one person make the game playable like it did for me, my work is done.

I spawn in the bunker on Reserve, but I get a phone call. I look for a secluded room—one of those empty ones that nobody ever uses—lie down, and go AFK.

Five minutes later, I hear someone running and think, “Well, surely nobody’s going to come in here.” Then I hear them running around the room again and again, and that’s when the mocking starts. They begin talking to me over VoIP: “Hello, hello,” “Helloooo, hello hello,” “Hey, hello, helloooo.” I don’t touch the mouse or keyboard at any point.

Then they open the door but don’t come in. They start saying, “Come on, come on…” One grenade. Two grenades. Three grenades. Luckily, none of them hit me. I still don’t move. Then, just as I see them about to enter the room, they rush in with a prefire and kill me instantly.

There will always be hackers, but I’m not spending another cent on this game until they at least show us players that they’re actually doing something to fix it. Like that guy in the shirt who’s been on this Reddit for weeks and is still playing.

Apparently the "armor shortage" is a direct result of Ragman feeding half of armor stockpile of eastern europe.

In-Game Event: Wildcard

New Class — Wildcard

A new class, Wildcard, has been added to EFT: Arena as part of the Wildcard event.

The class's main feature is the ability to use any gear from the Arsenal without class restrictions, subject to the Metascore limit.

Wildcard Questline

A limited-time questline consisting of 9 quests is now available. Completing it grants a matching achievement.

Selling Items for GP

You can now sell certain items from the Arena Stash for GP Coins.

To sell an item, right-click it and select Sell. The selling price depends on your loyalty level with Ref.

The following items can be sold:

• Sealed Gear Case (Battle Pass: Season 0);
• Sealed Gear Case (Rare);
• Sealed Valuables Case (Rare);
• Sealed Supply Case (Rare);
• Sealed Weapon Case (Rare);
• Red Christmas Ball Ornament;
• Silver Christmas Ball Ornament;
• Purple Christmas Ball Ornament.

Battle Pass Balance Changes

• Increased the daily currency exchange limit for Battle Points from 10 to 20 units. The new limit will apply after your personal Battle Points exchange limit resets.

I'd like to have a cheap set up to keep playing as PMC back to back, to both complete quests and just get a feel for a map. My inventory (UH edition) keeps being filled to the brim with stuff, but guns are harder to come by, and some I need for quests (modding for example).

Any recommendations for a cheap loadout? Still have to finish the Tour, need to go through shoreline.

After getting promoted every week, last week I failed to promote to Rank V with 2.2 million xp, 25th had 2.314 million XP. Honestly I want the legs from rank VII and that's all I care about. But honestly, what do you guys think?

I had a discussion recently with my play group and we came to the conclusion that everyone is looking for something different in Tarkov. no play style is better or worse. We all get our enjoyment out of the game somewhere. I personally love power levelling. So the ranked play is really scratching an itch. I've really enjoyed seasonal after 4 years off the game.

I think my next challenge is speed run to prestige 6 on my main which is fresh because i haven't touched it since 1.0.

I just failed the juiciest weekly I ever had because I didn't focus on it enough and I missed too many headshots on sanitar. I hope to get more of these weeklys, but this one was insane. Rusted Key plus 1mill roubles, plus 250k xp and some other things. Yes please! Hard quest though! :(
