I spawn in the bunker on Reserve, but I get a phone call. I look for a secluded room—one of those empty ones that nobody ever uses—lie down, and go AFK.

Five minutes later, I hear someone running and think, “Well, surely nobody’s going to come in here.” Then I hear them running around the room again and again, and that’s when the mocking starts. They begin talking to me over VoIP: “Hello, hello,” “Helloooo, hello hello,” “Hey, hello, helloooo.” I don’t touch the mouse or keyboard at any point.

Then they open the door but don’t come in. They start saying, “Come on, come on…” One grenade. Two grenades. Three grenades. Luckily, none of them hit me. I still don’t move. Then, just as I see them about to enter the room, they rush in with a prefire and kill me instantly.

There will always be hackers, but I’m not spending another cent on this game until they at least show us players that they’re actually doing something to fix it. Like that guy in the shirt who’s been on this Reddit for weeks and is still playing.

With about 50 days left in the season, I'm curious how many people have switched back to main/PvE and how many are still grinding seasonal.

Why does every game in seasonal have this guy right now? Just got beamed on woods by a guy that just runs up in my vicinity, says hello a lot, and then throws grenades at me. I thought the posts were exaggerating but this is clearly a trend now.

after losing an huge kit to an altyn guy while doing the quest where you have to pick up the thingy in the crashed helicopter on factory (i did suspect he was cheating but wasn't 100% sure). I decide a couple days later to go back, wait until theres 2 minute left and grab it, and what do you know there's a player scav who prefires me as i crabwalk up the stairs with 2 minute left on the raid, and its the same fucking guy. I cba with this game man ezfzgtrhrthrth

Thinking of hopping back on but curious on any big changes in the meta / big changes in general

What headsets should i use for different situations? For example is there a situation/map where the Comtac 4s would benefit me more then for example the Comtac 6s?

Wearing class 5 armor, got hit 3 times by 7N40 died.

Shooting PPBS, 13 hits 308dmg to body, 184 dmg to armor.

Obligatory: Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.

I'm terrible at remembering all my quests and what items I need to collect, so I'm looking for something to help me keep track of everything while playing. I came across Tarkov Monitor and was wondering if anyone here uses it and if there's any risk of getting banned for using it.

From what ive read it just reads the txt files. Just trying to make questing a little easier without risking my account. Thanks!

Hello guys, newbie here. Im playing SCAV for learning maps and just today I was shot to the back of my head by fellow SCAVs. AFTER CONVERSATION. They should be worse consequences for being PIECE OF SHIT TRAITOR. Whats even point to cooperate or talking if most of the people do this and dont care about "KARMA".

Im like fourth day in the season. And Im pissed of not by game but theese OGs shitbags.

There is NO POINT to NOT SHOOT AT SIGHT on FELLOW SCAVS, even tho game said NOT TO.

I understand that a lot of people post about the blooded rusty key. But, I have a feeling this one might be a little bit different. I'd like to hear yalls opinions on this. Because to me someone has a lot of 'splaining to do... I spawned at rusty key spawn.. Got it and ran to green flare. Grabbed two cameras and went back in. Here's what the room offered me. I did not leave one item out. I also spent about 10 mins searching the entire room to ensure I did not miss anything. Yes, this is PVP seasonal. Yes, I got the quest done.

Recently, I have made several posts asking some rather specific questions, some of them poorly phrased because of my lacking knowledge of the game.
However, the general idea is always the same :
Is there any idea you had while playing, or things you would do differently, that you would like to share ?
I am as much interested in the idea itself, as to why a member of the tarkov community would want things done differently

I'm a new player, about 15 hours into the game so far and I gotta say I do like it. But there is one thing that fucking pisses me off so much that I almost broke my desk. I seem to be getting one shot no matter where I am whether in the open or in a building, most of yall would be telling me its just a random player shooting at me but It happens even with a decent armour and when I try to see who killed me in the deathscreen or wtv it is called there isn't either a username, nor those random bot names that Scavs have. Am I just fucking delusional or no? I cannot figure out what the fuck is happening and it mostly seems to be happening neae the end of my raids.

Whenever me and my friend play together, we get frequent disconnects when loading into the match. When me and my friend load in as Scavs, he takes 5-8 minutes to load in. When he does it solo, he doesn't have this issue. Is there a way to fix this? Is this the case for other players?

When we try to reconnect, he often appears in a totally different location, potentially even a different lobby all together (haven't been able to check). Is playing with friends just not feasible in this game or?

This has never happened to me ever before and I have at least 100 Icebreaker raids behind me. Stood slightly to the right of the extract helipad to loot the three BDs and started to hear gunshots in the distance and got folded. They sounded like they came from the BDs guarding the door you have to breach.
Were the BDs at that door always able to snipe you if you are on helipad? From where I stood they could have also totally sniped me while extracting too.

why increase every other aspect of the game yet i need to do a hypothetical 300 scavs to get kappa, makes no sense

As title states, I was killed by this guy and I just think the kills and hours are a little obsurd for only being a lvl 19, and it even said prestige lvl 0.

I'd like to have a cheap set up to keep playing as PMC back to back, to both complete quests and just get a feel for a map. My inventory (UH edition) keeps being filled to the brim with stuff, but guns are harder to come by, and some I need for quests (modding for example).

Any recommendations for a cheap loadout? Still have to finish the Tour, need to go through shoreline.

Is there a tracker website that's currently up-to-date on what tasks moved to which LL or had them sorted by LL/unlock? tarkovkappa has a task tracker but they arent updated for the tasks that got removed a couple months ago with the rework

I’m trying to hunt cultists for the story chapter but i can’t find them anywhere. I’ve probably done like 15 night raids on customs and haven’t seen a single one. I go straight to fortress and scan the whole area all the way to crackhouse. anyone else having this issue or can has any tips??

Ive got about 200hrs in tarkov and i use medal for all of my other games. I’ve read at least 20 posts from people who use medal clipping software being banned from tarkov. Is there any validity? Has anyone else experienced this?
