Hey everyone! I just got accepted into Emory’s Master of Nursing (MN) program for Summer 2027, and while I’m super excited, I’m starting to seriously stress about the financial side of things.
Tuition is around $50k a year, and from what I’m understanding, federal unsubsidized student loans only cover around $20k per year (10k per semester). So how are people actually paying for the rest?! 😭
Did most people have to take out private student loans to cover the remaining tuition? If so, how much debt did you end up taking on? I’m planning to live in Atlanta, and I really don’t want a roommate. Between rent, utilities, groceries, parking, and transportation, I’m trying to figure out how people manage everything financially.
