Hey everyone!

I'm an independent musician working on a project called Marrying a Ghost, and I'd like to share one of my demos with you.

The song is called Close Your Eyes and Ask If You Can Bring Me With You.

I'm building this project around the things that have always drawn me to emo music: emotional honesty, romantic desperation, loss, and the feeling of being haunted by something you can't quite let go of.

This is still a demo, not a finished release. I'm working toward the final versions and developing a bigger concept for the project, but I wanted to start putting the music out there instead of waiting until everything is perfect.

I'm sharing it here because I'd love to connect with people who genuinely enjoy emo and post-hardcore, discover new independent artists, and watch a project grow from its early stages.

If you decide to give it a listen, I'd genuinely appreciate your thoughts. Feedback on the songwriting, vocals, production, or anything that stands out to you is welcome.

Cuddly melodies, a sense of extreme happiness and fulfilment, and dainty unchallenging chord progressions. Emphasis on whimpers and ASMR whispering.

Mostly stuff im personally not interested in with some albums that i like sprinkled in. However I'm glad forever the sickest kids got a mention. I also have to say that personally tell all your friends is definitely not number 2 oat. That album is like a 6/10 honestly.
